We Love Our Electric fireplace! It's colors are as many as the rainbow! Is so relaxing and makes for good cuddling! It's a eye demanding piece of art in our home!
Another question - is the new Orion model the same dimensions as Napolean 36" and would it be as easy to retrofit the Orion model into an existing fireplace opening as it would the Napolean (to the point you made that the Napolean specs match the w the commonly used gas fireplace model specs)
What do you think is the best freestanding elektric fireplace (most realistic) I have a build in kalfire e one in the livingroom but I want a freestanding one in my bedroom
The Dimplex looks great. Looks like the closet to an actual fire. Some of those look like a fire you would have in a dream just slowly moving up. Also the music you use to open seems to be in every commercial on tv now. I hear it and think a new review is coming out.
The local fireplace store here stopped carrying Napolean. I wonder why? Are there problems with that manufacturer? Separately I see Modern Flame has come out with a traditional box (non linear) model. Would love to see a comparison video!
Napoleon is one of the best brands in the indistry in my opinion. thye make great grills and fireplaces. I would say there are better electric fireplace companies though. I'll see what i can do !
Thank you for your detailed informative reviews.Regarding the Dimplex Revillusion the backgrounds are the deal breaker. They are not very attractive and look very outdated.
Thanks for your reviews. Really helpful. I love the look of the Dimplex Revillusion, but have heard that the fan noise is quite loud. How would you say the fan noise compares for the Revillusion vs. the Napoleon vs. the Redstone?
@@embersliving So I ended up buying the Dimplex Revillusion here in North Carolina, and it seems too loud. I hold my phone 3" from the front of it where the fan is with a dB meter app and I measure an average of 69dB. I've wired it both to 240V and 120V and the readings are similar. I called Dimplex and they said it shouldn't be this loud and the blower assembly needs to be replaced but I'm skeptical of this comment (and they don't have any in stock until June). After looking online, I've read that the Modern Flames Redstone is about 40dB (based on 1 sellers description). Were you able to take readings at your location? Is the noise I am hearing typical? or is there really a defective blower assembly? Is ~40dB correct for the Redstone?
Nice reviews, but please PLEASE mute the music in the background of your videos. It's seems like you are talking really loud to be heard over it. Not to mention how distracting it is.
Thank you for featuring the more traditional style ❤
Glad you liked!

Where can you buy a mantel that will fit the Dimplex Revillusion? Will any mantel work?
yeah
What is this Opti-myst setup, I can't find it on the site? Is this pieced together with a cassette?
If you can call or text our store at (303) 800-5659 our sales floor could get exact eveything

Yeah they are not my favorite, but some people really like them!

I guess most electric fireplaces are good if you want to see what a fire looks like in slow motion.
....what do you think, Chris?
I like the slow mo flame -Chris
