Fahim Anwar is a Los Angeles-based standup comedian, actor and writer.
Off the momentum of his one hour special THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS, The New York Times listed Fahim as a "Most Promising Future Star." He's appeared on CONAN, LATE NIGHT WITH SETH MEYERS and performed at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. His recent FILM/TV credits include WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT, NEIGHBORS, DRUNK HISTORY, CARMICHAEL SHOW and SUPERIOR DONUTS to name a few. Fahim served as head writer and starred on a sketch show special for Comedy Central with his comedy group (GOATFACE) which includes Hasan Minhaj from THE DAILY SHOW. Off the success of the sketch show special, Fahim was named by Variety Magazine as one of 2019 Comics to Watch, and was invited to be a guest on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast as well as WTF with Marc Maron.

Bobby shows how he trying to be a good person. Flawed and fucked up sometimes sure, but he is trying to be better. The Carlos mencia story is a great example of this. It’s not about Mencia not asking for forgiveness, it’s about Lee giving him the opportunity to do so.
Fahim, your Iraki Tron video is the funniest thing I’ve ever watched on RUclips. It nearly killed me the first time I saw it, because I couldn’t stop laughing and crying. I’ve recommended it to almost everyone I know. 😄

Really good podcast, I’ve seen Fahim before on TigerBelly. Now after watching this last one I’m a fan. He asked some good questions and knows how to carry the conversation and Bobby being able to talk about his past experiences without the constant bits is a enjoyable change of pace. 💯✅🙏
Good stuff love when Bobby talks serious and tells stories without interruption or jokes.
That moment Ali went against the grain and agreed with Bobby about Fahim's flaws. That was the shift where gained Bobby's respect.

Super interesting, especially the part where you discuss how different Bobby's and Fahim's comedy style is. Styles and vibes that are on opposite spectrums. Bobby's being loud and eccentric and Fahim's being calculated and calm. Even though I'm in no way in the comedy field of work, it's so entertaining and interesting listening to you talk about the world of comedy.

Bobby shows very good self-awareness. His podcasts aren't popular just because he says outrageous things and is ridiculously hilarious. It really does come down to the fact that he's a man of the people despite having millions of dollars and being involved in Hollywood.
His podcasts are popular lmao. He averages 250-600k views on his TB and BF podcasts with some reaching millions. That’s fucking amazing for an hour plus podcast.

I agree with what Bobby says in relation to being a safe comedian. I’m not outgoing but I don’t relate to safe comedy because it’s safe. I like Bobby’s style of comedy because he’s free and himself and I would want to be a bit more like that ideally. Not saying safe comedy/podcasting isn’t funny, but people are drawn to listen to entertainers who can be their authentic self and Bobby is an open book.
