We found an old street dog hiding by the side of the road, emaciated and suffering from advanced mange. His body was covered in painful sores. But despite his serious skin condition, we believed we could heal him, and after 8 weeks of treatment, beautiful Edward was a new boy.

How heartbreaking to see how scared he was when they were trying to catch him. He was probably so used to people being cruel that he thought his rescuers were just more people who wanted to hurt him.
It is wonderful to see how he healed, not just physically but emotionally. He is finally learning that people can be kind and gentle

When the sweet boy was crying and so afraid, I cried out myself, "oh sweetie" and tears came to my eyes. My heart was broken........thank you to the rescue gods !!!

Edward is a PRECIOUS elderly dog. He was saved by animal aid unlimited. Has gotten all the attention with full of love. Thank you for saving him off the streets. Animal Aid Unlimited has my respects granted indeed. Now Edward is super happy...GO Edward GO BABY!!! You did it!!!

These videos break my heart at first glance, but then when you see the love of real human beings helping them recover from a cruel world of inhumane treatment by others fills my heart with joy.
Keep up the great work your doing.....so many animals face this very same fate everyday around the world sadly but your care and compassion is helping so many to regain strength, trust, and most of all what it feels to be loved again.

hey everyone can u all help out with the number of animal aid bcoz one such dog in my area suffering from worms his tail has rotten n he is about to die I tried putting dettol near the affected area but it didn't work please guys help out as I am feeling sorry for that dog

No no no no. If they really care ,,,,,,, India & other countries that are severely cruel to a domesticated pet/animals should stop the breeding. Do something important and very necessary re diseases. So horrid and sickening go see all abuse. Even though somewhat well and given food + medical care; what is the future for them all if they keep making more and more puppies/ kittens, etc???
they might hit dislike , because they they dont like the way the dog was treated by the original owner who didnt take care of it..they might have hit dislike to show their frustration at the way some dogs are treated

Yes these kind of blankets are very popular in India as it's cheap. And even if he covers the whole mouth, still the dog will be able to breathe as these blankets have little space in between. These blankets are not of good quality but it is amazing for serving these purposes.

Living in what's called a third world country I know how hard it gets sometimes to care after these forgotten souls and I couldn't be more glad to see India taking these huge steps in human & animal rights ...the road head is bumpy but this is a promising start...Way to go India

Yes, the first time I saw a Animal Aid Unlimited, India video I thought the before and after image's were of two different dogs. It can be jarring the first time you see, so maybe if they inserted a couple of transition photos it might be easier for some people. But yeah Dogs (and anything really) can undergo amazing transformations when you remove mange and malnutrition. Animal Aid Unlimited, India does great work.

I love watching what you guys do you restore my faith in mankind,, I noticed in another video someone asked about what happens to the animals later and they were told that the animals could not be flown out of the country as the stress would be too much for them,Obviously there would not be enough room for them all at the sanctuary so are they being returned to the streets again.
Check their website - they seem like a very good, ethical charity. I think elderly and disabled dogs can stay, but others, once sterilised and vaccinated and strong, have to be returned. But the local people are learning through education and example, how to treat dogs with kindness and can call again if they see one in trouble. It's a humane way to treat dogs. Better than just euthanising.
