- Whats up RUclips so today I got the yoyofactory ONE yoyo up for review. This yo-yo is in the $10 price range and intended for beginners. Old video, but still commenting anyways for if it helps new viewers. I got back into yoyos a few months ago after many years (90's yoyo boom), so here's a basic review from the kind of person this is made for. It's made out of cheap plastic, but it's the nice kind of plastic that doesn't hurt as much when you hit yourself with it, making it great for a beginner (the Onestar/Sage is made of the same, and what I moved up to.) I'd recommend keeping it responsive, it's too small and light to do much with otherwise. If you can get it cheap, go for it, it's a really fun pocket size yoyo. It's great for picture tricks, playing catch with yourself, and some basic string tricks.
All that said, about a month ago I removed the pads (they stuck out of the side wall quite a bit on mine, Yotricks edition) and re-did them with Red RTV Silicone (thanks for the tip, Dylan!). I love the feel of it now, nice and snappy, and I feel like it's performing better than the stock pads. I'm not getting the random mid-trick snag/returns.

I live in Canada and it was cheaper to buy this Yoyo for the bearing at my local toy store than to order the bearing online(for my better Yoyo) lol so now I have ONE (Dad joke pun DEFINITELY intended 😂)

Those are MagicYoyo pads. I actually did beat the crap out of that yo-yo, its just invincible. As is that OneStar.

yeah, the stock One comes with white 19mm thick pads. those, plus the half-spec bearing, make it _extremely_ responsive.

i threw the stock pads from this yoyo in my green yoyojam lyn fury. and dylan...if it wasnt for you i wouldnt know about #MagicYoyo. thanx for making the K9 my favorite yoyo.

i threw a #MagicYoyo 8 ball bearing in mine as well. i can only imagine how it would work with the nsk gold bearing. #YoMods

I have this yoyo! I got it for my birthday two years ago
My YYF One came with a garbage bearing, it's very loud and doesn't sleep for long. I realize it's a cheap yoyo but I'm sure a better bearing would help. Was hoping this video was going to be a stock YYF One to compare it to mine.

I want to get back into yoyoing and picked up this yoyo for some responsive play, but it is a bit too responsive. Not much spin time and catches very easily. I did install a center trac bearing, but is now completely unresponsive. What yoyo would you suggest to use for responsive play that isn't too grabby? I've been paying close attention to gap width as well, any certain minimum or maximum I should watch out for?
if your playing with responsive and you can something that can do string tricks for cheap should be the yoyo factory whip or velocity if you want something even better the wedge 2.0 or sage is better

You get what you pay for with this thing. Personally, I would take the YYF Whip over the YYF One any day.

Edit: If you have extra time you should do a create a trick video once a week. Just grab a yoyo and see what you can come up with for that week. Would be cool in my opinion just throwing that out there maing. Keep up the good videos!🤘

I find it to be way too light. But that might be because I'm a beginner.
this one comes with horrible stock bearings...after a few days of play they already started to become noisy and I had to clean and lube them. this unfortunately is the case with quite a few of the cheaper YYF bearings. I'll stick to MYY for now...

That depends who throws it. Sleep time isnt something that is measured. Some is the yoyo some is the person throwing it

I got this yoyo as my first one, but ended up hating it. Spin dies very fast. Sure I am not throwing it perfectly, but I am not gonna waste my time on this pile of garbage. I returned it to amazon and ordered an N12
