Asians while well known to be on the smaller side, Japanse are actually on the top of that scale. Only South Korea I think have a higher average. As a SEAsian, when I went to Japan, I find Japanese men are quite tall by average than where I'm from. Even high school kids seems taller than me. Just from a personal observation though.
The women are still oddly short, they have an extreme high disparity between the sexes. Most of the Holomem are still below average though (which is 5'2", 157cm).
