Today I was sketching my newest original character and realized she looked a lot like Touko, so I had a sudden fit of nostalgia and wound up here. Can't rewatch the movies because the hard drive with all my anime on it is in storage, so this is the next best thing. ...Let me just say, yep, I'm still just as down bad for her as I was at 16. Hot damn.
It seems to be her own custom game because it has Aoko on it and she just chose to reject bringing her on an adventure. Girl uses a Game Boy for her own personal therapy sessions.
she is kinda a polymath and one of the smartest people in the nasuverse. It gets overshadowed cause she is a western mage. It's not hard to see her make her own game.
Touko Aozaki is the epitome of "if you stare into the abyss, the abyss stares back at you.” She's done so much messing around with puppets and magic that the concept of her "original" doesn't even apply anymore. I also love the idea of this washed up magus, still quite dangerous, who was once exceedingly ambitious just sitting back and helping people out as a hobby.
If I were a betting man I'd say she still is ambitious she's just biding her time to make something truly extraordinary a well thought plan the likes of which the world of magecraft has never before seen
I haven't seen a single thing about Kara no Kyoukai (or Mahoyo for that matter). I shouldn't be seeing this, but i'm doing it (and enjoying it) anyway. Also my girl Medusa also appears for 6 seconds. It might be a small amount, but she's precious nonetheless.

And yet when you compare her to the thaumaturgy and mages of the age of the Gods she seems to be nothing more than a 3rd rate hack. (Please forgive me for insulting Touko Aozaki I actually think she's an amazing character.) Edit: yeah as the comments below state Barthomeloi is actually the most powerful magus of the current generations. But touko is still Amazing!!! Her puppet mage craft allows her some form of functional immortality.
That's all of the modern day mages though, due to the lack of Mystery. Wodime proves that some of the Clock Tower's top mages could rival mages born in the Age of Gods given that they were born in the same era.
@@bannerdavid8169 aside from her raw power nothing special or unique about her. But her thaumaturgy is close to magic it seems. She also has an unreasonably and borderline insane hatred for vampires that even she doesn't fully understand lmao. I'm still a bigger fan of touko however

らっきょから作品のクオリティーは高いけど、こう見るとキャラクターの描き方とか結構変わってるんだな…
Fate/zeroあたりから絵柄が変わった感じがあるよね。空の境界の最後の映像化の時はUBWの時期と被ってたからキャラデザがほとんど同じだった。
監督が原因かと
1〜7章はそれぞれ確か三人くらいの作画監督が持ち回りでこなしてたから結構細かな違いがあったけど、未来福音の時にはFate/Zeroの制作が被ってたから原案の武内崇の物に近づけて統一して作られてる。
だから章ごとに違いがあるんだね
劇場版7章の中でも矛盾螺旋がけっこう特徴的な絵だったような記憶
