I did this rebuild, I traded Beal to Kings for Haliburton, and got Cunningham for the 1st pick. Ended up getting the title after three years.

Personally I'd trade Beal for a King's Ransom.. You'd get a few vets to help Russ compete next season and picks for future rebuild... If Russ can get 3& D guys around him..they can make a push...But if they want to keep Beal..Russ trade value is as high as its gonna be..Boston, Knicks,Miami,Denver would be ideal
I'm doing a Wizards MyGM - you'd trade them 20/21 or 21/22? I just got the game and haven't played 2K in a loooong time...
I managed to get them under the cap and even with Russ/Beal's contracts I'll have some space next year. I switched Hachimura to SF and Gafford to PF (I'm on PC and used an editor to change their positions). After a month Hachimura/Gafford's overalls have gone up and they're both @82/83.
I even managed to get all of my picks back. When you start they're missing some picks but now I have my normal amount of picks.
I don't know what to do from there...
Would a dominant post player at the C position make them a championship team? I have a little cap space but not a lot so I don't know if I'll actually be able to be too aggressive so I don't know if it's worth the risk to go another season with Russ/Beal in the hopes I find the right C.
They *need* a C who can run the floor and defend the rim. Upgrading the 3/4 won't solve the problem from not having a C. I played a couple of games and the C's they have are so slow they literally can't even make in down the court in time to even be a factor in defense.
What do you think? Are Westbrook/Beal/Hachimura/Gafford a C away from being a championship team or would it be better to blow it up?
