I would love to view a doc or in-depth interview with G&D regarding Quebec’s writing/recording process. I think that was sonically their best and also showcased their randomness from track to track better than all others. Just my opinion. 😝

Ween! From the very first fraction of a second I heard Ween (which was Daisies) I knew i loved them. Same goes in a different way for the Eels (Daisies of the galaxy) strange Daisey connection... I recently found some daisies i had pressed with my mum when I was about six and wrote a poem about my tears making those Daisies grow again. (She's dead and things were difficult) Its odd how daisies keep coming up in a certain kind of memory... Shit well that was an emotional few sentences really....
I would like to offer the daisy poem to anyone that will make a song with it for free. I've offered this before with other poems and the output was lovely to hear. So if you would like some free lyrics, and I'm a decent writer, reply here and i'll send you them on the understanding that I want to hear your song. Thats it. Thats my payment. Hearing it. I have a good amount of material that I'll happily give away like that....

Haha yeah this is the only station in Austin that will give you good music - Man if you ever are up early on Sunday morning you should check out the Chillville broadcast sometime from 9-12 at krox-com its the best radio ive ever heard.

Russ Hicks has played the Quad Cities steel guitar convention for quite a few years now and I talked to him about these sessions. I said you played on Weens country lp? He replied with a strong southern drawl "You mean those rockers" it was great! He also said that they wanted to do some big show out on the east coast somewhere with all of the original members from the sessions and after all of there wife's heard the cd they said no way....

Gene and Dean were totally stoned out of their minds on marijuana the entire time they wrote and recorded GodWeenSatan and The Pod. They said the first album that they recorded at least halfway sober (if you wanna call it that) was Chocolate and Cheese.
I followed the christian rock links on my church (Mother Mary of the Immaculate Fecal Consumption) webpage, and i got all brown and sweaty after i clicked on it. I went to their site and took a lissen. Thats how I found Ween. Ever since then, I loved ween and I'm trying to get them to play in my old church's basement for the easter holidays.

I was going to ignore you the last time I saw your text, but since you keep writing about how much Ween sucks (which I think you think makes you look real cool, like an authentic Ween fan) I have to say something. If they really aren't any good, then why do so many people listen to their tunes. I first heard them in '91, and saw them shortly after that. I still listen and dig their music. What do you do, and what do you listen to Cool-guy? Are you in a band that covers Ween?
Man. that's looks like Whipping Boy, man who more or less introduced me to Ween. I miss Whipping Boy, made a stupid ass statement about the A&M bonfire disaster and got his ass fired. Wonder what became of him?

A shitty interview, yes. But it's mostly the host who has no idea what to do. He never just asks normal questions and brings the interview down to earth. It's like he can't organize his thoughts, and feels he needs to keep the interview "Wacky" because it's Ween. They are musicians and touring--there's plenty to talk about. What's the problem?
