    This music along with the footage... Around the 9:45 min mark... Creepy... I can't imagine being a family member and knowing my loved one was at the bottom of the sea... Idc what condition the remains are, I want them. Take a special soul and strong mind to do this type of work... I felt anxious just watching

    i hope this doesn’t seem insensitive, but what happens when you let the retrieved bodies float up to the surface? are they gathered and delivered to the families so they can give their deceased loved one a proper burial?

    • @FilipinoCaveDiver
      @FilipinoCaveDiver  2 года назад +46

      There is another team on a boat to collect the remains and deliver it ashore to a waiting mortician/ funeral house staff. Afterwards, it is collected by the family for burial.

      @@CRCR666 There's lots of things that can identify a body- the clothing and equipment (or remains of) that they're wearing, tattoos or other defining skin markings, hair and other external features commonly used to identify people and if there's sufficient intact tissue DNA samples may be taken and matched against surviving family members, but if those aren't enough to identify a person their teeth can be matched to dental records if they exist, and a general idea of how old the person was and their gender can be derived by examining the size and shape of the bones and potentially damage to the bones can be matched against records of historical injuries.

    I have a question if you don’t mind answering and I will try to be respectful of the deceased. I’m wondering how the deceased persons body stays together as you bring them to the surface, are they put in body bags to keep them whole? Purely informational, no disrespect intended

      I don’t know for sure, only a guess from what I know from life…maybe if the water is cold it preserves them a bit more, so they haven’t got far into decomposition. I could be completely wrong of course.
      But they are doing an amazing job and bringing closure for a lot of family and friends 😢
      I can’t imagine finding people like this, the thought of their expression etched on their faces. Very brave people to do this

    how long have they been down there ? :O Massive respect to all the divers in action there! I cant imagine how "scary" this must be, diving into the ship wreck alone is dangerous as hell (atleast i could imagine it is ?!) and knowing you WILL see dead bodies inside a dark shipwreck would be to much for me.

      A video showing deceased people would be taken off RUclips in minutes.
      If you lost someone in this disaster would you want to see them? Showing a full deceased person is disrespectful for one thing. People would be up in arms saying they profited from families in mourning and the deceased people themselves.

    Why did you use such music here? It's way too dramatic and creepy for a video showing dead victims of a tragic accident that happened very recently. I really respect the work and effort of you and your team's incredible work but I just don't think the music is appropriate for such content.
