How to fix your connection is not private Error in Chrome.

your connection isn't private error.
you have to follow this step.
1.you have to check your system time.
or
 1.Open google browser
 2.Search anything on your google browser.
 3.Now go to setting right top of your google browser.
 4.Click on advanced setting.
 5.Now select change proxy setting.
 6.After this select lan setting.
(a)uncheck proxy serve
(b)checked used automatic configuration.
Click ok button.
7.Now search again on browser.
but this solution is for temporary used.

NOT a CHROME issue!! SOLVED!!! This drove me nutzzz! If you have installed the Avast Antivirus to protect your PC then
you will have to turn off HTTPS scanning in Avast. To do so, Open AVAST..go to Settings → Active Protection → Web Shield → Customize, and finally uncheck the “Enable HTTPS scanning” box. Kasperky, Norton etc... same same ... VOILA!!
Ok ... it's still working! :) However, I attempted to drill down to the same "turn off https scanning" setting after I did this.. But I couldn't find it... Hmmm . Well today (4/28) I found it. Open the Avast user interface .. Go to Settings (bottom left) >> Components >> Find WEB Shield >> Click "Customize" and there it is.. I didn't turn it back on .. I just wanted to be sure I could point to it ... So, If anyone can't find it .. :)

thanks. it worked. it's not a chrome error. it happened in Firefox as well. But the issue started after Chrome ver. 58 was installed. It obviously reset my settings in my OS. are the instructions a bit long winded? yes. plus my system didn't look like what was being shown on the screen. it took some trial and error but it's done. took me the better part of my day to fix :/ thanks again.

Followed everything as presented...When seeing "Change Proxy Settings"-my box was not checked. I am using Chrome & the msg that initially appears with "your connection is not secure, etc" is as you have shown. What do I do now that box was not checked...no need to hit ok or do Google search... Any help? Should I take computer to Geek Squad at Best Buy(I have a year's subscription). Appreciate your detailed step by step video. I thought for sure this was the answer. I may have a solution for you, Bing hitman pro anti malware and download the free trial, run that scan and after its done it'll ask you what you want to happen to the malware threats, obviously remove or repair. After it all it'll ask you to reboot your computer, do so and open google chrome, go to google.com and if it's the same problem as mine it should work!!

I'm a bit confused. This thread was up by bell in RUclips & this is what showed. Perhaps someone was trying to say that maybe the date was amiss on my computer. No it was not. That was the first thing looked into. Any other suggestion? I've also done the temporary anti malware and rebooted when all was said and done. If my response is confusing the thread, pls know I was confused :)

VitaZgal if you open it in chrome then there is an "change proxy setting in that you have checked the box.if box isn't there you have to uninstall chrome and then install.I hope you got solution.
