- Man it takes a good bit of effort to mod these switches but holy they sound insane when modded. films drop the pitch and the ghv4 makes them a whole different beast.
Keyboard: SingaKBD Kohaku Lilac R2
Switches: HMX Xinhai, stock lube removed, GHv4 on rails, 0.15mm TX films, 65g TX long springs with 105g0 oil.
Plate: Aluminum
Mount: Leaf gasket
Keycaps: GMK Analog Dreams R2
Stabs: Cherry Clip-ins with XHT-BDZ
Sheeeeesh this sounds so damn good
Thanks man. It’s truly amazing how good these hmx switches sound when u mod them right
@@Strongfingers88 I’ve just been using them stock, haha. I’ll have to mod a set an compare. Either way though it’s refreshing to see a new name with such good switches at a great price
These sound amazing on the kohaku! Might even be clackier than the Mx blacks on Alu plate!
of all the hmx switches you've tried, which one do you think is the "clackiest"? nice vid as always
Only tried the one kind so far haha
nice builds as always
Thank u bro. Ur comments always mean a lot to me.
xinhais for the win as usual. i run em stock. too lazy lol.
I was doing that but I noticed with the way I mod them it makes them a bit more muted and overall sound a bit better. They take a shit ton of time to mod though. I have 200 here and it will probably take me 15 ish hours total.
Was wondering when u were gonna do this combo, great outcome not as overpowering as i thought with both being clack kings
The ghv4 mellows it out a lot and it sounds fucking phenomenal. It’s hard to choose this or blacks as a finished build
christ even clackier than expected lmao
Hey how would you compare the factory lube to GHv4?
The factory lube is pretty good. I’d say it’s similar to a light coat 205g0. Not at all thick like Mx purple lube. The sound change of the modding comes mainly from the films and the increased amount of lube compared to stock
Just a question but what's the difference between 205g0 and GHv4 and why you decided to lube these with GHv4?
So ghv4 is a combination of 206g0 and 106 oil. It’s less viscous aka more oily than 205g0 is. So it affects the top out and overall sound slightly compared to 205. It’s minuscule difference but worth in my opinion. You will notice a lot of others like it as well
@@Strongfingers88 Thank you! I've always found 205g0 to be a little bit too thick for me, I'll definitely try them out for some linears.
@@solaeris_ghv4 is thicker actually, the sound you may get might be more deep than 205g0
Clecky sound
