DAMN, I've heard Wild Pigs were destructive but I've never seen a video like this of the actual damage. I can't imagine what a bigger herd of them could do. Crazy.
I got news for ya. You have more than just that single boar. From the damage I saw in the video. I would estimate 8 to 10 hogs were rooting your fields. If you don't begin a trapping system, you will loose a lot of money!!! They produce faster than you can eradicate!!
Gald you got the ones that were tearing up your alfalfa...I live in SE Texas and they are WAY past the pest level...there is wide open hunting on them, no limit, no license...and still they are out breeding us!!
Thank you for all your videos. I’ve enjoy every one of them. Eddie it’s lovely to meet you. I hope you guys took the wild boar home and cooked it on a spit braai (bbq) ( sorry, in South Africa we don’t say bbq at all but braai.
There aren't even indigenous to Tx but they are tearing up all our Hill Country too! They wreck everything in site, no real fear other than the few bobcats here & there.✌
One answer to the hog situation is hog fence. The investment in hog proof fence will secure the profitable areas of a farm/ranch operation. Big investment... Sort of.... Over 50 + years, reasonable investment with huge returns. My opinion.... Start fencing all the production areas and then connect together... Eventuality, isolating the hog populations so they can be eliminated or controlled
@@horseygurl143 They shot and killed the pig because it was tearing up his crop. The Mendota Ranch is a working ranch and if you don't like it, don't watch it lady!
@@horseygurl143 Like I said before, this is s working ranch. They shoot and kill coyotes because they kill calves, wild pig's because they root up the land and eat/ ruin his crops! They also hunt deer for sport and to keep the numbers down. The ranch donates the meat to the local food pantries.
Awesome video here that would have been about 20 dollar's worth off ammo Eddie shot up lol man that stuffs hard to find glad you guys got the hog that Alfalfa seed is expensive ..
Dig holes, fill with corn, dump water in it,thin layer of soil, after a few days gets to be good bait. Your alfalfa, humm for the most of it, plow it, plain it and start over, I give 0.5 on the ricter scale. Hunting in copter no fun, horse back and pistol, or ambush. If in good shape and run all night, dogs.
You and your shooting buddies ought to come to Australia, where we have the biggest boars ( and large family). Just wait for our borders to open and make contact..... you will have a ball and empty magazines !!

Hey Eddie! Enjoyed watching .
The Carolina net style traps are the best for clearing out the entire sounder.

I have never seen a animal that destroys as much as those wild pigs. Glad you got him.
They tear up everything!
Good shooting, that’s how we sort them out in North Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
Hard to imagine one hog can tear up that much. Wow! I see why the get hunted so hard.

I hadn't seen Eddie in 20 years. He's still a hell of a shot.
He is
loaned my 458 socom to a buddy with land on the border, seems somebody keeps cutting the fence on the Mexico side, he needs more ammo
Good shooting Eddie! Hope y’all had a Happy Easter! 🐰🐣✝️🦋 love 💕 & hugs 🤗 God bless
how much alfalfa can you grwo for the price of helio? I think Helio shooting should be a competitive sport. I would sign up for that.

God bless u Hi Ed🙏
Anytime you need something shot from a moving helicopter, I am your guy.
Shoot, clean and cook.
People would pay good money to do that.
Do you leave the shot pigs for the scavengers?
We luckily have only had a few. We leave them for the coyotes.
Wow that’s a lot of damage.
They can do it quickly!
Did you eat that boar.?
1st like an comment keep it up
Ya do gophers too?
Hogs tear up pastures here in Florida and do it quickly. Good shooting from the helicopter!!
"Pork Hunt" 🐷😁
Don't kid yourself. You have a problem. Big time.
Money!

Could use y’all on the border

Don‘t call that hunting, but pure killing. No skill required to follow with a heli and empty a magazine on a boar.
Actually they do have skills, can pilot a helo, shooting on the move, smart enough to afford a helo.
