There is a young man of God. A "Saturday's Warrior." He's willing to give up all that his precious to him to serve his Heavenly Father. Major props to Jake Cliffton. He'll NEVER regret serving a mission. Never.

Feel good story of the day, tough decisions lead to life changing outcomes. Good luck buddy, and if Kstate doesn’t work out BYU will be waiting in the wings!

Wow, what a good young man. First teaching, growing to love them and fianlly cherishing them as eternal friends is way better than winning the Superbowl. Good luck Jake, look forward to seeing you when you get back. I am a Couger fan but "Go Cat's"

Don't be surprised if after that game, he sees a hole in BYU's defense he will want to fill in two years.

please avoid using the abbreviation “LDS” or the nickname “Mormon” as substitutes for the name of the Church

C’mon man. Chill. Even you just called it the “Church”. Is that the real name?

@kevinm9246 my word, that was worse than the original post. You may struggle with President Nelson but he deserves more respect than that.

I literally copy and pasted it from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ website. I get where you guys are coming from, but the Lord is asking us to do it this way through His prophet, and if we aren’t even following his counsel on a BYU channel, I don’t think we can expect others to follow.

Please excuse the rudeness of this poster. Feel free to refer to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in any way you feel moved to.

Although it's an interesting debate to see what category The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints falls in, I think what’s more important to the Savior is coming to realize the Church is His.

@@MrEyeist the Bible is pretty straight forward in being swayed. Nice try though
