Yeah I was about to say that. Working in a well ventilated environment is best
Liquid monomer only has an odour, it doesnt give off fumes or anything like that, its just a smell which is not harmful to health so wearing a mask to protect you from it is pointless. The smell may give you a headache but that's it. The real issue is dust from filing which can get into the lungs. Regular masks won't work against that either, only an N95 certified dust mask will protect you from inhaling dust from filling. The masks you see being worn in certain nail shops is because they use illegal products which is harmful but as long as you use proper products you don't need to worry.
