For those that don’t know, the tiny rear seats in many sporty cars is because no matter how small those seats are, it means the car can legally be considered a 4 seater and will reduce the price of insurance for the owner
I had a mk2 supra and I swear those were the biggest rear seats I've ever had in a 2+2. Still couldn't fit a person comfortably but at least they weren't dug out so you could at least pretend it was where a human could go.
Quick thing about the wing, be it S6 or S8 spec, with no wing your boot automatically opens because no weight, once you have a wing, manual boot, I learnt that when I took my wing off haha
In all Jdm coupes the backseats aren’t there for people it’s there for lower insurance rates that’s why the rear seats are always dug out so you can throw stuff in the back and it won’t fly out
For anyone new to Miatas a lot of these features like the subwoofer in seats, headrest speakers and door tweeters are exclusive to this model or some of the more premium (and much rarer models today). This is the first time I’ve ever seen the sub woofers and dial to adjust between the 2 and radio cover on a miata.
It's small cause it mostly had in mind the Japanese demographic. The average Japanese individuals height is quite significantly smaller than the US.
