Wow ang sweet naman nila, very elegant makipag usap. I would say they are very professional, very careful with their words and one thing I noticed the most is that they are always smiling which is good and really fits their job.
As i read the comments, mostly are complaining about their service. In my opinion, it is still best to hire FAs that have experience in customer service or in hospitality industry. Though the primary role of the cabincrews are to ensure the safetu of the passengers, it is also part of their job to make surw that all passengers are comfortable on board which includes catering to their needs. If you dont have knowledge or wide understanding of hospitality, most likely u wont be able to provide the service that your passengers are expecting. Though it can be learned along the way, it is still important that they know how to put theirselves in ones shoe, which one cant do if they do not thoroughly understand what hospitality really is all about. Safety wise, it can be learned. I know that airlines prefer registered nurses but their are a lot of FAs out their that arent nurses. It only means it can be learned through thorough trainings, since it will be the major factor that will be focused on their training period before they can start flying.

I beg to differ from the bad experience that many claim. In recent months, I've been flying with Philippine Airlines between Los Angeles and Manila in Economy and I must say that their service is one of the best. Magagalang sila and very pleasant. Take into account nyo rin naman kung paano n'yo i-treat ang crew or any service industry workers. If you come on board with this common huge sense of entitlement of many of our kababayan and a chip on your shoulder, wether you fly PAL or Emirates, you will deserve to be snapped at. Learn how to support and promote our own because kung hindi, sino pa?

I took phillipines airline twice for 40 years. at least 2 time back and forth. yes indeed. they are arrogant. but that doesn't mind me at all. the complain I have is the plane shake a lot while flying.while Eva air. I had no complain. even the stewardess. they will attend to you.
The problem I feel with cabin crew is their egos are way too big and I don't like that arrogance they have which is unpleasant. Realise you're there to do a job and that's to provide service to paying customers. Be humble, courteous and smile. I guess its difficult to be cabin crew because their schedule is pretty damn hard still make sure your eating well and that will make it easier for you. you should try to avoid food containing L-Tryptophan at night which will help you stay mentally alert.

lol, I love the all comments because they are spot on. I hate taking PAL because the stewardesses are so stuck up and treat their fellow Filipinos like garbage. They look down on fellow Pinoys and act like they're doing you a favor just by talking to you. I happened to be on a business trip once to the PI with a bunch of OFW's and the way the stewardesses were treating them was simply appalling. These were some of the hardest working Pinoys going home to see their families and shouldn't have to endure such treatment from stewardesses of all people...

we flew from LA to Manila with Pal... the food was bad. seriously. it was ground beef with green peace...i upgrade nyo yang food nyo... ang layo ng byahe tapos ground beef...
Kung baga sa restaurant, they're prett much the servers and bus boys and girls of the skies. Mga chimay na lumilipad. And just like in restos, dealing with customers is prettty stressful, plus the fact that they are 30,000 feet up and extra safety and precautions must be taken into account. Di madaling trabaho, so pardon them if di kayo mapansin agad agad or medyo suplada sila. And also di naman kalakihan ang sweldo ng mga yan. Just ask them nicely and if one attendant rubs you off the wrong way, then approach another attendant. It is very unlikely na lahat sila suplado or suplada at the same time.

We fly Eva or Cathay even if we have to lay-over a few hours. Cheaper but better food and service. Nmpta, sa PAL yung mga video player, di gumagana. Busit. Puro dahilan. Sa EVA Air, ubos ko mga movies.
kinda agree with you. Most of the FAs on my flight to LA were aging, apparently seniors in rank. Nainis pa ako kc one of them didn't assist me well in filling out the disembarkation card. That got me into slight trouble when I faced the immigration officer in LA.

Magaganda ang mga FA sa PAL Sana nga tulad nila kaganda ang serbisyo at mga fleet ng PAL. Kaso, kung gaanod kaganda ang mga FA ay ganoon din kapangit ang serbisyo at mga fleet ng PAL. Ang Manila-Riyadh at iba pang Middle east bound nga lang, OMG, basura fleet, dagdagan mo pa ng arrogant attitude ng mga FA. Never ever I will fly again PAL. I am also discouraging my friends of other nationalities to fly with PAL every time they ask me about when coming to Manila. I recommend Emirates Airlines, Etihad, and Cathay Pacific. look beautiful but I don't believe that they have good hospitality and care to the costumers, specially in economy class, in fact their quality service is so bad according to my experience

Pero eto minsan ba napansin mo mga taga gulf countries bang naging FA sa mga airlines like: saudi arabian, kuwaiti, emirati, qatari? Diba walang nagwowork na trabahong mga nationalities maski sa mga bansa na nila ginawa mga aircrafts nila. Diba? Kasi ang tingin ng mga gulf countries sa cabin crew maid. Pero para sa akin marangal na trabaho naman yan kaso yun nga lang hindi ka naman pwedeng tumandang cabin crew ka na lang diba? Maganda pa din ung may fall back na alam mong pwedeng magamit kahit tumanda na. Sa totoo lang narealize ko na yan sana di na ko nag aral ng tourism may height ako pero ilang rejections na natanggap ko sa airlines. Di ko alam kung gusto nila ba kasing ganda ni barbie pero kapag nag work na may attitude pala. Sana sinunod ko na lang ung mga other options ko na either chef or doctor ako ksi kahit tumanda ako magagamit ko pa din ito rather than FA.

never again to fly with PAL. matataba and old looking already and stewardess non-stop talking while serving food. the BEST are Thai smooth take off and landing and such beautiful FA. Singapore and Aseana delicious foods and pretty FA as well.
PAL employee are corrupt and egotistic. My last flight, my booked business class seats were taken away and given to their friends and we ended up with broken seats. The attendants were rude and only pretended to be helpful. Menu items were unavailable. Never flew PAL again since. PAL... plane always late.
btw the uniform is elegant. that scarf with hibiscus print makes the flight attendant look good, complimenting each other.

Queen Marzzmalloh for me naman po kc these flight attendants or cabin crew karamihan or sasabihin natin mostly sa kanila ay galing sa mga middle class family, nakapagtapos sa magagandang pangalan na school kaya yong attitude nila parang elitista ren..in short snob.. service nga kinicater nila pero sa kanila ala naman more on flaunting lang sila paporma..di ko nilalahat pero yon yong iba

I took phillipines airline twice for 40 years. at least 2 time back and forth. yes indeed. they are arrogant. but that doesn't mind me at all. the complain I have is the plane shake a lot while flying.while Eva air. I had no complain. even the stewardess. they will attend to you.

The problem I feel with cabin crew is their egos are way too big and I don't like that arrogance they have which is unpleasant. Realise you're there to do a job and that's to provide service to paying customers. Be humble, courteous and smile. I guess its difficult to be cabin crew because their schedule is pretty damn hard still make sure your eating well and that will make it easier for you. you should try to avoid food containing L-Tryptophan at night which will help you stay mentally alert.

Z Z Too sad that there are still people like you who think this way. So what’s wrong with being a serbedora? You clearly doesn’t know the job of a flight attendant. For your information, food service is just a small part of their job. Sige, try niyong sumakay ng eroplano na walang kain kain tas no one will do the the service of food for you. They’re there because they have to make sure that everyone will be treated well during the flight and will be safely delivered to their destinations. And how can you say na ang tataas ng ego? Just because they look pleasing to you? Common problem talaga sa mga Pinoy na kapag feeling nila natataasan nila, biniblame nila yung tao misjudging the person to be boastful and arrogant! It’s their nature to work with grace and hospitality that’s why they smile, and sound pleasing. Hayyyyssss. Feed yourself with knowledge first before saying things that are not even reliable and true.

lol, I love the all comments because they are spot on. I hate taking PAL because the stewardesses are so stuck up and treat their fellow Filipinos like garbage. They look down on fellow Pinoys and act like they're doing you a favor just by talking to you. I happened to be on a business trip once to the PI with a bunch of OFW's and the way the stewardesses were treating them was simply appalling. These were some of the hardest working Pinoys going home to see their families and shouldn't have to endure such treatment from stewardesses of all people...

Kung baga sa restaurant, they're prett much the servers and bus boys and girls of the skies. Mga chimay na lumilipad. And just like in restos, dealing with customers is prettty stressful, plus the fact that they are 30,000 feet up and extra safety and precautions must be taken into account. Di madaling trabaho, so pardon them if di kayo mapansin agad agad or medyo suplada sila. And also di naman kalakihan ang sweldo ng mga yan. Just ask them nicely and if one attendant rubs you off the wrong way, then approach another attendant. It is very unlikely na lahat sila suplado or suplada at the same time.

Yup. I've flown EVA Air, Cathay Pacific, ANA, China Airlines, their flight attendants were/are pretty good.
We fly Eva or Cathay even if we have to lay-over a few hours.
Cheaper but better food and service.

kinda agree with you. Most of the FAs on my flight to LA were aging, apparently seniors in rank. Nainis pa ako kc one of them didn't assist me well in filling out the disembarkation card. That got me into slight trouble when I faced the immigration officer in LA.

Magaganda ang mga FA sa PAL Sana nga tulad nila kaganda ang serbisyo at mga fleet ng PAL. Kaso, kung gaanod kaganda ang mga FA ay ganoon din kapangit ang serbisyo at mga fleet ng PAL. Ang Manila-Riyadh at iba pang Middle east bound nga lang, OMG, basura fleet, dagdagan mo pa ng arrogant attitude ng mga FA. Never ever I will fly again PAL. I am also discouraging my friends of other nationalities to fly with PAL every time they ask me about when coming to Manila. I recommend Emirates Airlines, Etihad, and Cathay Pacific. So bad that Qatar Airways and Cathay Pacific services from Riyadh are not available anymore.

It's the travel, advenutres, lay overs, sight seeing sa ibat ibang cities, hotel hopping etc habang pumapatak ang metro ng sweldo nila. Mga bagay na hanggang pangarap niyo nalang. Haha!

Personally? Remember that looks can be deceiving. If you noticed something na parang hindi niyo po nagustuhan sa kanila, wether sa pagstare nila, or what, di naman po ibig sabihin, pangit na ugali nila. Huwag naman po tayo manghusga agad agad. Tyaka, confidence is needed for them. Also, in terms of their service, you can complain, but sana naman po in a respectful way or manner. Huwag naman na porket di po nila nakikita yung comments natin, grabe na po kayo magbato ng mga salita. I get your opinion of being free to express your thoughts. Freedom of expression po kumbaga. Ang trabaho nila same lang naman ng trabaho ng mga service crew sa fastfood, pinagkaiba lang nasa eroplano sila pero bakit parang ang taas ng tingin sa kanila, dahil ba nasa eroplano sila o dahil magaling sila mag english, bakit ganun din naman ang karamihan sa fastfood magaling mag english..

Actually sir dito lang naman sa atin na mataas tingin sa cabin crew. Pero eto minsan ba napansin mo mga taga gulf countries bang naging FA sa mga airlines like: saudi arabian, kuwaiti, emirati, qatari? Diba walang nagwowork na trabahong mga nationalities maski sa mga bansa na nila ginawa mga aircrafts nila. Diba? Kasi ang tingin ng mga gulf countries sa cabin crew maid. Pero para sa akin marangal na trabaho naman yan kaso yun nga lang hindi ka naman pwedeng tumandang cabin crew ka na lang diba? Maganda pa din ung may fall back na alam mong pwedeng magamit kahit tumanda na.
Sa totoo lang narealize ko na yan sana di na ko nag aral ng tourism may height ako pero ilang rejections na natanggap ko sa airlines. Di ko alam kung gusto nila ba kasing ganda ni barbie pero kapag nag work na may attitude pala. Sana sinunod ko na lang ung mga other options ko na either chef or doctor ako ksi kahit tumanda ako magagamit ko pa din ito rather than FA.

Actually. Di naman talga ung pag serve ng food ang work nila. They undergone training for the safety of passengers and assistant to the pilot.

never again to fly with PAL. matataba and old looking already and stewardess non-stop talking while serving food. the BEST are Thai smooth take off and landing and such beautiful FA. Singapore and Aseana delicious foods and pretty FA as well.

PAL employee are corrupt and egotistic. My last flight, my booked business class seats were taken away and given to their friends and we ended up with broken seats. The attendants were rude and only pretended to be helpful. Menu items were unavailable. Never flew PAL again since. PAL... plane always late.
