Oh how I wish I was in the UK enjoying winter. Instead I’m in Australia not enjoying the heat and humidity 🥵🤣. But I’m currently in hospital after heart surgery so at least I’m in aircon 24/7 👍💜. Take care. Loving Vlogmas as always ❤
I love winter too. We live in New Zealand so Christmas is in the summer. Lovely, not. We need the doors and windows open because it’s hot. The neighbours are all having Christmas parties in their gardens. Smelly barbecues, music that sounds like a washing machine. So looking forward to winter again.

Hi Ali!! Chickie 🐥 here ... trying to catch up with myself lol. Before I forget, I wanted to suggest you put 3 battery operated tealight candles inside your cardstyle fold out green Christmas decoration on your mantle!! I think it would flicker and be totally magical! Every time I've looked at the mantle I've thought hmm, I must suggest that to Ali...and of course would forget until next time - face/palm! As always, I absolutely adore your Vlogmas and happily knit away while watching, with a fresh cuppa at my elbow. On today's vlog you wrote "I flippin' love Winter!" and I so agree with you!!! I live in totally the wrong country because the winters here are mild and I just love the cold weather. I love the tingle on the cheeks as you walk, that and it just makes you feel 'alive'! We are in our summer now, this week has been almost bearable with temps not exceeding 30 deg C and staying to around 25-28 but the week before... Oh Lordy!! Mid to high 30's... eeek! So hard to sleep on those hot humid nights! Sorry this is long but I may as well get it all out while I'm here lol.... I wanted to say how chuffed I am that you loved the package I sent you with the Bears in the Woods project bag. I get such a thrill every time I see it and see you actually using it!!! I'm sure I'm blushing!! Are you using the needle keepers I made as well? This is my fave style of needle keeper which is what I call them cos I don't use dpns. I knit socks on 2 x 60cm circs and sometimes on 100cm magic loop and I still use the needle keepers as well, it even keeps the cord tidy too .. and, they are long enough to keep your crochet hook safe too! Did you find a use for the gummy bear stitch markers I made and the yarns etc I sent as well? Wasn't sure as I hadn't seen them lol... I must go back and see if I missed an episode! Anyway, I'm so tickled that you love your project bag, it was an absolute pleasure to make for you because without you, I would never have attempted making a project bag because I thought it would be just too hard. You made it easy!! Bless you and the family now and always, have a wonderful and happy Christmas and I wish you blessings of good health, love and happiness in the coming year. Greetings again from The States. Specifically Arizona. No worries. There is major snow less than two hours away in the mountains. Winter or fall at your fingertips. And I’m a little obsessed about England. Cotswolds. UK. ❤
I used the big pin to secure wool wrap skirt, held shawls in place when didn't want to look like a blanket wound around the neck but you could put those baubles on it and make it a broach
We put out whisky too ! ❤🎄❤️🎄❤️

My daughter always insisted on leaving Father Christmas a bottle of beer to take home with him and drink later because she said he shouldn’t drink and drive! She was about 4 at the time lol xxx

Really enjoying your Vlogmas again this year, thank you. I've noticed when you film on your lunchtime walks that you have parakeets.
