Maybe a lynx? I love lots of animal but most do not suite who I am. I am not showy or impressive as most wild cats are. I adore red pandas, but am neither as colorful nor exotic. I have lots of feline traits and love climbing on trees, so something that can do that. I would love to have something that can fly but it aprears wrong to me. I adore bears but are not as sturdy, love does, but are not as elegant. I think it would be something I can carry, mostly solitary and quiet but capable of cuddling. Carnivorous, though I do not know why I think that.... So Lynx for way less showy than other big cats, very well hidden and they live where I am from. Maybe a wolverine, it's one of those odd animals that does not quite seam to fit and also fits the criteria, though carrying is a tight fit. Seal would fit somewhat, I love all marine mammals but seals especially and they can come to land, very very struggling, but that kind of fits me but probably not. Last possibility I came Arctic fox, that stretches the point of being a regional animal, and pure white is a bit to elegant, but elsewise... Especially in a summer coat one would very well fit. So most likely lynx or arctic fox.... Or well, marten like Lyra

just a heads up that its not an adult show. with that said, its not specifically a kids show either. its suitable for all (i say that because i tend to like dark stuff, and this is lighter than most of what i like) the book trilogy holds a special place in heart tho since it does the themes of love, death, and sacrifice very well. and the show was a faithful adaptation of the books. the last season was solid. in terms of Andor, i havent had disney in a few years since im not really into DC, marvel, and star wars. actually, im kind of into star wars. they are typically the only movies i go to theatres to see. and ive seen a commercial on Andor. it looks dark and badass. one of these days, im gonna get disney for a month and check it out!

"the last of us" is coming out mid-january. ive never been a gamer, but when i was first reading the Witcher in 2015, i found out that there was a video game, so i buoght my first console ever. a ps4. witcher 3 ended up being the game of the year that year, so of course i was blown away since i hadnt played a video game since Golden Eye around 2000/2001 lol. my ps4 came with "the last of us," so after i finally beat Witcher 3 and the silly little Game of Thrones Choose Your Own Adventure thing, i played "the last of us." and it was pretty fun. (i beat it twice, but probably on the easiest difficulty lol). i could see how people get addicted to video games tho
dude. its funny i mentioned "The Last of Us." did you see that they just dropped the trailer? it looks sick. im tempted to turn off audible and turn on my PS4 for the first time in years =)) (hopefully it still works lol)
hey K'fay. im one of those people who enjoyed the "prequels" (1,23). i also loved all the new movies except one of the. i cant remember which tho. maybe the Han Solo one of the one with Emilia Clark (same one?). the new Kylo Ren dude seemed corny at first, but i still liked that first movie. and his character and performance of him grew on me. i only watched a little of the animated clone wars thing, and i loved it. i just love reading and audiobooking more, so i stopped at some point. in terms of the new shows, the mandalorian was cool. nothing special. but when i dont like something (like wandavision and bridgerton, i just stop). and i made it through those star wars easily with all that said, Andor looks to finally be the type of Star Wars that i would love. it seems darker and more mature ... granted, im basing that off of nothing but the color scheme from the trailers i saw at some point lol
This show is a lot to get into But once you do, it's very compelling and makes you reflect on how people manage their primal instincts and conflict between those instincts (instinct to keep your child safe, instinct of self preservation sometimes overpowering that, etc.)...

his casting jumped out at first since he is so different in age and appearance to the book version. but Lee is such a great character, and so is Hester. so Lin grew on me =))

D E F I N I T E L Y read these 3 books before watching the series. Also, Lin Miranda was a HUGE miscast (and, I think, the only noticeable casting mistake).
Why? I always adored Lee to pieces, and after the first "what? " liked the casting a lot, for he caught that to good for the World vibe quite well . . . Lee needed to be imidietly lovable and very notacibly falling for lyra(platonicly) on first sight. His whole point is running his whole life as soon as it gets even a bit sticky, for he is craven but imidietly realising that his love for Lyra will mean he will die for her.... And he chose her anyway. Seraphina confirms that but he stays on course and wins her respect and love through that.... In Hamilton he was a massiv miscast for everyone sang him under the table, but how did he fail here? As fare as I am aware, he did exactly what he was supposed to do in the story.... Show of just how the world twists around Lyra and break our heart while doing so
i had written a similar comment, but i guess it never sent. my take on Lee was that i felt his casting was jarring at first, but i love the characters of Lee and Hester so much that Lin's portrayal of him grew on me =))
hey Mari! season 3 is the final season (adapted from a 3 book trilogy). its 8 episodes in total. 2 each monday starting tomorrow. seasons 1 and 2 were 8 and 7 episodes respectively (there was a standalone episode in season 2 that they dropped due to filming issues)
I'm not a book reader, only a show watcher. I'm also not super worried about spoilers, though I clicked away from your other video because I don't want to know Pan's final shape yet. Unless it's the ermine. Then it wouldn't be real spoilery since that's what you'd expect. I was wondering if the golden monkey was actually Mrs. Coulter's daemon at all. All of the other daemons talk except hers. Maybe there's something about it in the book; I wouldn't know. Someone in S3E1 stated that it IS her daemon, but that might be show only. And I don't even remember who said it, so the person could have just assumed. If it IS her daemon, it could be that her method of separation robbed it of its ability to speak. Years ago, I commented on one of your videos. Probably a Tower of Joy video. I remember that we have the same pronunciation of Gerold Hightower's first name. My dad's name is Gerald with the hard G, so I thought it was interesting to hear someone else pronounce it that way, too.
for this video, i reread books 1 and 2, wrote a script (adjusted for changes that i could recall from the show) and recorded it. then i rewatched seasons 1 and 2 in full to get the best video clips, and tweaked the script/recording in a few spots that didnt sync up from the book version to the show version (i left one change in, but i doubt many people will catch it since it doesnt materially change the recap) after all that work, the video didnt even get 1000 views lol. so it was probably around 40 hours of work down the drain. not gonna lie, it had me questioning whether or not i should even cover this show this season. i started covering "the white lotus" and no one watched my video, so i just stopped covering it despite loving the show but then i see your donation... i often get insecure when i see them because it feels like too much. in order to keep this channel alive, i need to do content that gets more views and i need to get more channel members. i cant rely on you alone. with all that said, i just wanted to thank you for this donation in particular since i put a lot of work into this video and was bummed with its response. on top of that, i am working on a video for tonights episodes right now, and i was bummed out. but you just gave me a second wind. so thank you!! however, please dont feel obligated to always do this. you are literally the only one who does (i didnt even know it was a thing until i saw you do it lol)

Really gave this show a chance... it drags on WAY too much. The characters are superficial. The story is BORING & bland. Its a cheap Harry Potter ripoff.... and poorly done at that. Wish I could get that time back.
