The myQ Video Keypad will control a SINGLE residential garage door opener.
They have a power cord. It’s coming out the first half of January. This hopefully should solve the battery issue.

I stuck just the controller on my old craftsman opener. It's been pretty good. I didnt get a keypad and Im good with that. I didnt link it to the echo dot and forget giving walmart or amazon access to my garage. The best part with this thing is now remove the openers from your cars that live outside and toss them in a drawer. Thieves near me like to swipe your opener off a visor and it could be a week before I notice! Now it's phone only for me.
That's a good idea! They know to look for openers in vehicles... visor, glove box, etc. Get rid of them and that's solved...
Rudy, Happy New Year! Man, are you kidding? I'm still turning the lever lock in my garage door and pulling it up with that rolled handle on the bottom. No one can hack that.

Hey, does anybody know what the face recognition does? Does it open up your garage door without using the keypad can’t figure it out.🤔
I don't think it's face recognition like you have FACE ID on an iphone. I think it's more like "people" recognition not any particular face, but anybodys face.. I think under the subscription you can make it record if it sees a person.
