How to make a REALISTIC Model Airport? 9 TIPS for Beginners / Air India Terminal

- Hello everyone! In today’s video, I’ll be showing you how to make your very own 1/400 scale model airport STEP BY STEP in the simplest and easiest way! I’ve added 9 tips for beginners and common mistakes to avoid.
In this video, I have used the GeminiJets 1/400 Scale Airport Landside Airside Terminal GJARPTB along with my 1/400 ‘Tarmac Designs’ Airport Terminal Mat. I’m also using accessories by GeminiJets Airport Vehicle Set, and Fantasy Wings Light Poles and Aircraft Docking Guidance System. For the airplane models, I’m using a wide variety of Air India, Vistara and Jet Airways models by GeminiJets, JC Wings, Phoenix Models and NG Models.

Hi Saif, I am currently building a model airport. It’s partially fictional as Condor, KLM, Singapore Airlines, ANA, and EVA Air fly to Houston but not Dallas. The terminal I have now is small with 7 gates - 3 American Eagle (CRJ-900/E175), 2 United Express (E175), and 2 Air Canada Express (E175/CRJ-900). Eventually, I am going to have all airlines that fly into the state of Texas at my airport.

No. I lay it directly on a table since the mat doesn’t slip nor does it curl or roll up.
@@SaifTinwala Glad to hear. Also is the mat designed just for this particular scale and terminal? or is it compatible with 1:500 herpa basic set 1 with 1:500 aircrafts as well?
The mat I’ve printed is 1/400 scale, but if the mat is printed a little smaller it can be perfect for 1/500 scale too!
