- Hello everyone! Welcome back to my channel. Today’s video is a detailed STEP BY STEP guide on how to build the PERFECT Model Airport using Diecast Airplane models. In this video, I show you what tarmac base to use, unbox various Ground Service Equipment (GSE) and vehicles. I also assemble them all together into a diorama both for a widebody and a narrowbody aircraft.
I also share some tips and tricks on photography to get the results out of your diorama display, and how to make the models look ultra realistic.

That is outstanding. JC wings build some solid GSE but herpa just don’t seem to be the company they once were. Yes I went with the 1:400 on mine. But 1:200 really opens the door to so many options. Gemini are consistent but it’s all hit and miss finding it some times we are still considered a niche hobby.

FYI what you want to hold them in place is micro mark super tac it allows you to place items and remove or place them elsewhere and still keeping them sticky. I discuss it in a few of my vids. A sheet of baking paper when applying dabs of it with a toothpick to the figure or item itself when it’s dry it’s like they have a magic sticky TAK on the bottom that WONT MARK your groundfoils!
This video is outstanding! Inspired me too, to get a 1/200 Emirates 777-300. Just waiting on the final bits of GSE to arrive to complete the diorama! Absolutely brilliantly done Saif! The mat is next level detailed. Love my setup and can't wait to finish it!

Where you bought this flights
i'll be applying for CPL soon and hopefully within 3-4 years i'll be a 737 pilot in Air India and then hopefully on to 787 or a350. Would be so amazing if we ever flew together with you as my Captain 😂

Lovely btw is it actually safe to keep them in the sun ? I heard somewhere that you shoud keep them away from sunlight or UV rays
Yes long exposure in direct sunlight is not good for airplane models. However I use direct sunlight for my shots, but I make sure the exposure to direct sun isn’t for too long though (under 15 mins)
