I admire the fact that even though she is naturally light-skinned she embraces the darker pigment to her skin rather than wearing makeup that makes it lighter. Light skin is beautiful as well, but it’s rare to see someone in a country of beauty standards geared toward pale skin who opposes it and goes for the darker shades instead. It reminds me of how Jessi embraces her tan skin as well.
I don't know many Korean makeup artists who are comfortable promoting their natural skin and not trying super hard to lighten their skin. It's very relieving because as a mixed raced Asian I feel like I'm being represented which feels so nice. Keep up the good work, I'm looking forward to watch more videos.
I know a lot of people are saying that her skin tone isnit natural and she tans a lot but it’s really nice to see someone with dark skin and using Korean products and going against the norm of their society it’s also fun because now I can use some Korean products because I had to have darker skin. Plus she’s so beautiful
Her other videos sho she's hardly this tan and when it comes to colorism in Korea, she hardly makes any videos addressing the topic. This shit is for clout.
Eh it depends. In her case I don’t believe she is black fishing, but rather evening out her skin tone since her body seems to be of a dark tan color. But if you’re just seriously tanning yourself beyond what your skin color is, I believe the “going against the norm of their society” is no longer a Compliment but rather a problem.
I feel like jella would make an amazing Monster high Cleo de Nile cosplay!! she basically has the same beautiful, tan skin as Cleo all she would need is an acurate enough wig and blue eye contacts. Omg!! it would be soo so perfect ahhhh!!!
I do believe she resides in South Korea. I'm very astonished at how she chooses to become a darker complextion despite being in a society that is obsessed with pale skin. I'm glad that she's defining her own beauty and living in her authenticity.
this is the first time I see a SK beauty guru accepting their natural dark skin tone. I see a lot use a much lighter foundation than their natural complexion, so this comes off really fresh and new to me. You are so beautiful and I really like how you apply your makeup, it looks so easy and beautiful *-*
MermaidGaming 101 the main comment was about the girl "accepting" her skin tone, which is something fantastic since most South Koreans tend to use a lighter foundation shade. But this girl is not "accepting" her natural looks still, hence why she's using color lenses. Get it?
this is the first time i see korean is emphasising her tan color, because many of them like the white skin color. ps: you look so beautiful, i love your makeup style.

I'm shocked to see a korean beauty guru wear a foundation that matches their bodies tan. It's refreshing, wow you look so vibrant in the peach highlight, its everything. Also I enjoyed the narration :) great job!
Actually I always thinking that Korean make up only for bright skin ppl, and many ppl said Korean make up doesn't suit my skin cuz I have tan skin, but after seeing your make up tutorial its makes me more comfortable and excited to trying Korean make up again TYSM ❤❤❤
I have no idea why this popped up in my recommended but as a hopeless bi and a human being with two whole functioning eyes I have to say that this is the most beautiful human they’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving reflected photons from
@Ssuzen Just I didn't understand why she generalized our skin. Skin tone is different for each people so. And some pale skin korean maybe feels upset about this comment. Plus I like tanned skin but average Korean skin tone isn't tanned, they are similar with Italian~centural Europe. Please Love our skin😙😙
finally there is a tutorial from Asian women with brown skin, so far because I live in Indonesia, so my skin is automatically brown since childhood, but most Asian women think white skin is the most beautiful, even though I like exotic chocolate skin that is typical of tropical regions like Indonesia, good job girl... 😍😍
Honestly I am so stunned with this beauty! I’ve never seen a dark skinned Korean before so this was a shock to me! I’m not trying to be stereotypical about Koreans being light skinned (which I always see everyday and everywhere) but this is my first time seeing a tanned skinned Korean girl and omg she’s actually very gorgeous! Korean girls shouldn’t be afraid of getting tanned because I’m sure they’ll be as gorgeous as this girl!
Nowadays a lot of the korean women are getting their skin tanned like Lee Hyori or Hyorin. It is quite rare to see korean with naturally darker skin tho. The girl in this video will be seen 1/50 in every crowd i would say.. because there is one or two in every classroom that contains 40-50 kids.
I love that you're darker skinned as the typical korean who wants to appear very light. The combination of darker skin, asian features and blue eyes looks stunning! But also without makeup you look very beautiful 🤗
@@eeyaah Since it’s a unified country (no diversity in races) Cultural Appropriation (CA) is not a thing in Korea they don’t understand that these specific skin colors or hairstyles are related to power dynamics/ a history of appropriation/ politics/ and how the US society considers these looks as “Thugs” in the US and Europe… For them (Asians) It’s just a hairstyle/ fashion of hip hop and used to represent coolness or strength.

wow u wrote allot 👁👄👁
Thank u so much for this!!! I am glad there are still people like you who understand other humans too and don't just bash them for everything they do.
@@Doux444 a whole essay
I'm shocked to see a korean beauty guru wear a foundation that matches their bodies tan. It's refreshing, wow you look so vibrant in the peach highlight, its everything. Also I enjoyed the narration :) great job!
Sammmeee hopefully the reign of the "white mask" make up will finally be over LOL
언니 약간 영화같은데 나오는 수호자? 인어? 막 그런 느낌이에요 너무 이뻐요 이 세상 미모가 아님..ㅠㅜㅠ♥♥♥
She needs to be in Asia's top beauty according to my opinion . She's the most unique beauty I have ever seen 🥰😘
it's so fresh to see a korean beauty with a tan skin! beautiful!
Actually I always thinking that Korean make up only for bright skin ppl, and many ppl said Korean make up doesn't suit my skin cuz I have tan skin, but after seeing your make up tutorial its makes me more comfortable and excited to trying Korean make up again TYSM ❤❤❤
I like her makeup, and I really like the fact that she is not changing the tone of her skin. I see that to much.
Absolutely agree!
Lmao😂 It's not her original skin tone. It was already tanned.
Why is this being recommended to everyone suddenly?
lol me too
Because goddess is here...
*_her skin is so golden shes literally glowing omfg im in love_*
Omgggg as a fellow tan Asian, finally an Asian makeup guru I can follow. 😍😍😍
Finally, a Korean makeup I can follow because we have the same skin tone! 💕
OMG Just looking at the thumbnails has fascinated me. You're really very pretty.
wow she's really pretty and i love how she accentuates her natural skin tone !! beautiful woman
éloise beauchamp i mean it isn’t her natural skin tone but she is beautiful
@@penelopebarajas1245 ._.
I have no idea why this popped up in my recommended but as a hopeless bi and a human being with two whole functioning eyes I have to say that this is the most beautiful human they’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving reflected photons from
I love that the fact she didn't look like the 'stereotypes' in Korea
When korean have more darker tone skin,They REALLY look beautiful😍
From hwasa to hyori to Jella
Yeppoyo😆
Maybe it is different in each people.
They are just pretty…..
I love this, Koreans usually hold a stigma against dark skin, but she is embracing her beautiful tan skin!!
I personally adore this, tanned skin and bright colored eyes, those are my goals
finally there is a tutorial from Asian women with brown skin, so far because I live in Indonesia, so my skin is automatically brown since childhood, but most Asian women think white skin is the most beautiful, even though I like exotic chocolate skin that is typical of tropical regions like Indonesia, good job girl... 😍😍
OMG she’s like a doll she’s so pretty
Gorgeous 😍. I love that she embraces her brown skin too.
진짜 독보적인 아름다움이다...
The girl in this video will be seen 1/50 in every crowd i would say.. because there is one or two in every classroom that contains 40-50 kids.
hithere Really? Wow! Well, they all still look really gorgeous with darker skin
Her cat/fox-like features is fascinating and the fact that her skin color makes her more gorgeous❤
I'm happy to see a korean slaying a darker skin tone! ♥
A darker skinned Korean queen YASSSSS!!!
I love that you're darker skinned as the typical korean who wants to appear very light. The combination of darker skin, asian features and blue eyes looks stunning! But also without makeup you look very beautiful 🤗
I haven’t really seen Koreans with dark skin but when I saw this channel I was taken back. You. Are. So. Beautiful. Omg
dark koreans are the prettiest by FAR
its my first time seeing a korean who is not pale white! YOU LOOK GORGEOUS!!! 😍😍😍😍
Have u ever been to korea? There are so many people like this
*I really love the idea of her being a korean but having tan skin* 😍
-KPOP FAN- koreaboo
언니가 하는 화장은 뭔가 예술인것 같아요..젤라라고 하는 한 예쁜사람에게 예술을 하는느낌....💕💕
Rare to see a Korean with a tan skin, it is so lovely to see
i rarely see tan skinned koreans, and you look beautiful~
I am not sure but I think she faked tanned or something. Maybe I am getting confused with someone else
But she is not that fair too, and this makeup really suits her~
ive always seen korean with pale complexion but hers is so beautiful.
She is too pretty 🥺🥺
I have NO idea what she's saying but she's gorgeous and I am subscribing, lol

@@eeyaah Since it’s a unified country (no diversity in races) Cultural Appropriation (CA) is not a thing in Korea they don’t understand that these specific skin colors or hairstyles are related to power dynamics/ a history of appropriation/ politics/ and how the US society considers these looks as “Thugs” in the US and Europe… For them (Asians) It’s just a hairstyle/ fashion of hip hop and used to represent coolness or strength.
You look like a fairy or a nymph from those beautiful movies we all have watched when we were young. One word: stunning!😍
I really love this you don’t see many korean make up artists using tan make up
Her skin color is beautiful, she's so beautiful even without make-up
Ok I literally froze when I saw this girl on my recommended *uhm how to be this gorgeous??*
Kim Namjisoos SAME
Kim Namjisoos same dude but she was in my home page and I asked the same question
I'll get back to you after I finish the self blood sacrifice ritual ;)
this girl is breaking stereotypes and i absolutely LOVE IT!1!1!
You embracing the tan skin and being Korean (because of the skin whitening that has been an asian trend) is very amazing! Absolutely suits you veri well ❤❤❤ sends you all the love from the Philippines ❤❤❤
but most Koreans and East Asians are pale even without whitening
How can a person be this pretty...?
Jella breaking Korean beauty standards (because fair skin is more desireble, but Jella is soooo incredibly pretty especialy with her “dark” skin!)
Woaah you are sooo gorgeous! I hardly ever seen tan koreans. You look like a goddess!!
She' s different from others korean girls omg,, so prettyy 😍😍
