    I’m getting the two implant dentures next month. I still have all my teeth. I’m super excited to get rid of all my crappy teeth.

    Ohhh, I'm so happy that I found you. Im from venezuela, currently living in Spain. I'm about to start my second year of the dental technician program. I think I'm learning more from you than my teacher 😜 the way you explain is amazing. Thanks for the videos. (Sorry if my english is not perfect).

      +Mariana V Thank you very much. I'm glad you like the videos. But I'm sure your teachers can do a much better job of teaching than I can. Best of luck in your second year!

    My friend was going to get 2 implants like your model. The Dentist put in 4 and now he has a Denture that is permanent and can't be removed just like his natural teeth.

    Great video! Thank you. Can you give a rough estimate of the price of each procedure?

    • @parisiendentureclinic9617
      @parisiendentureclinic9617  10 лет назад +2

      There are many factors that come in to play when determining the cost of treatment and these factors will vary(sometimes drastically) from person to person. It's not really fair to give a estimate for a procedure(especailly when dealing with implants) because the cost for your treatment could be much higher, or could be lower than someone elses.
      I know I hate it when I think I have to spend $100 on something(because I heard that's how much it costs) only to find out it costs $400.
      What are some of these factors that can affect the cost of treatment? Here's some of them:
      How many implants are being placed? Which brand of implants are being placed? Who is placing the implants - a Oral Surgeon, Dentist or Prosthodondist(they will all have different fees)? Which city is the procedure being performed in(larger cities typically have higher fees)? Which country is the procedure being performed in(I can tell you the fees for dentures in Ontario are much less than in Michigan)? Who is making the prosthetics - a Denturist, Prosthodondist or Dentist(they will all have different fees)? Do you need a bone graft? Do you need a sinus lift? Are you having conventional or mini implants placed? Is the surgery performed in one or two stages? Do you require oral or intravenous sedation? Is your sedation being done by the dental practitioner with a nurse or is an Anesthetist performing the sedation? Do you want removable or fixed prosthetics? Will you need straight or angulated abutments? Do you want your teeth made from acrylic or porcelain? What is the overall complexity of your individual case(more difficult cases normally cost more money since it requires more time and skill from the practitioner)? Do teeth need to be extracted? Does a temporary prosthetic need to be made until your final prosthesis can be made? Is the procedure being done in a hospital or in the practitioners office? And believe it or not there are still more factors....
      These are all questions that your practitioner can answer when they examine you. After their examination they can put together a treatment plan that will address your needs and will then be able to offer you a quote for your procedure.
      I hope this round about answer explains why I can't quote a price for you. :)

    I think you took me out of context? I was simply trying to be complimentary on a job well done. There really isn't anything to "steal", as neither of us invented promoting our services in video format. And the idea of "competing" with a denturist 400km away seems farfetched. All the best.

    Thank you Barry for this informational video. Would you suggest to have implants right after extraction of teeth from lower jaw or wait for couple of months to heal the bone and gum as suggested during other video? I will appreciate your expert advice

    I have an extremely sensitive gag reflex, my denturist pretty much told me before I get the transitional today that he's pretty confident that I won't be able to wear an upper denture with a pallet but I can't afford to get the implants without saving up for them. I definitely want them but what kind of time frame does a person normally have before it's not possible anymore? Is there any way to slow down the jaw receding?

    Thanks for your video Barry. I still have my teeth and my dentist wants to give me upper and lower dentures with two implants on the lower. The cost is expensive and I've been trying to decide what to do. I've seen ultra suction dentures and these seem to me to be a good alternative to implants. I'm a tooth grinder and I'm afraid the implants will end of failing. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

      +Dentures Direct Implant Denture Clinic If you plan on "stealing" my ideas, then yes, I would have issues with that. If, as a colleague, you were asking if I minded if you used some of my ideas to help improve the lives of your patients... I would have no issue with that. It seems all too often that there is an animosity between Denturists and that we are "competing" for patients. You even mentioned this in your video advertisement, "what makes us stand out from the competition...". We should all, Denturists and Dentists alike, work together and see each other as colleagues and not "the competition". Working together with your colleagues, whether it be another Denturist or Dentist, will make you more of a professional and garner more respect than considering everyone "competition". I wish you the best.

    hello you said that if someone has a full denture the implants are the best option but my mothers doctor said that it was not a good idea because her gums are too weak. is he right or do you still recommend the implants?

    • @parisiendentureclinic9617
      @parisiendentureclinic9617  6 лет назад +1

      Jessica Duran Implants are always the best option when dealing with full dentures, however, not everyone can have implants placed for numerous reasons. The surgeon will tell you if implants can be placed or not. It also doesn’t hurt to get a second opinion if you’ve been told that implants cannot be placed.

      I had that problem and I had gum surgery that added bone grafts and tissue so I then had enough to hold my implants. I had to wear a flexible prosthetic till it all healed and my implants could be placed and I had to heal again. it was a process and I had it done at a University Dental school. My surgery was done by a oral surgeon / periodontist. The implants when healed where designed by a prostodonist and the permanent were installed. I can now bite into anything .
