Survivors Bias. There are definitely more people who left singapore than those who stayed. Those who left did not bother to make a video because they either get cancelled or spore is no longer important to them. Those who stayed, who have some singapore fetish, they will keep expounding on how "fantastic" spore is. Spore is literally a place where spore fanatics consolidate, so this island will forever have more and more foreigners who loves spore. Their views may be flawed based on upbringing or just distaste for the cold weather.
Who likes singapore ? Those that benefited. Thats nothing, that's just normal. But one day if singapore goes against u, will u still like it? That is the issue. Most people even pro sporeans are stifled. But in the opposite end, this ytuber have actually more creative options in singapore. How much views she would get if she kept saying "Switzerland is the best " vs saying the same about Singapore? There is a hunger for this type of "Pro SIngapore" content.. Singapore is a sucky place if u're honest. Only thing is safety (but stabbings are up) and food (cooked by PRCs now) & your relatives who refuse to leave.

Just remember one very important thing n that is Singapore didnt find success over night, it was left to "die" by some country who believed strongly that we will not last long especially without any natural resources other than its people n a very very capable leader with his capable team who turned us into what we are today. So it is for you, with perseverance n a "can do" fighting spirit you can achieve greater things. Sometimes we are stronger when we are pushed against the wall and dont worry about love. If its yours, it will be yours n it cant be separate by distance, sea, mountains, different aspirations or goals. Who knows your ex will one day be reunited with u if his love for u is too strong that nothing can separate u both. Sometimes such separation reinforced n strengthen the love n if it does happen (the reunion),it will make the relationship n love even stronger than before. Press on!!

Singapore is really one of the most well governed city-state in the globe. If one is gifted with economic , financial or intellectual talent, Singapore is very welcoming n nurturing 🎉
There is something that Singapore offers that majority of other countries in the world including the rich western countries just cannot offer. The day to day life, the day to day living, the day to day of freedom, the day to day of pleasantness, the day to day of pure existence of self without fear, expose to extreme climate conditions, out in the open where you can feel the wind breeze through your entire self all year round, the calm, the blissful state of being, is PRICELESS.
True, but some areas are way too crowded, mrt is not exponentially improving and there's some bias towards the greys, thats why some old folks are rude n entitled. the calm, the blissful state of being-- is it coz u don't have to struggle with office politics?
Alot of singaporeans aspire us to be like Switzerland and yet you tell a different story. Sometimes we chatted among our friends about you and i had friends who claimed you are fake , blah blah blah how you are not even swiss. A friend who disagrees otherwise, said home is where the heart is , just follow our hearts.
I have so many questions but the main are: 1 - As Switzerland girl, you were able to stay in Singapore for a whole year without a permit or something? 2- What kind of permit did you had that allowed you to create your own company?
@ most foreigners here are like that want best of both worlds , when come to citizenship they will back out when questioned Just hope you don’t go down to this path 😊
That's an intruiging idea indeed, establish a private limited company to employ yourself to stay in Singapore. Keep on the good work. Maybe once your company or you have contributed to Singapore a lot in terms revenue/tax, or promoting it to the world for cultural exchange or businesses... Such efforts may aid you favorably in your PR application. Ganbatte.
Don't give up your swiss passport. The SG passport isn't worth it, really! SG will be harder and harder to live & make a living. Really worried for the future generations of SINGAPORE... SG might not exist in the next 50 years.
Hahaha, that's exactly what the British thought, Singapore will just "die away" when the British left and look what is happening in UK now. Look what is happening in Europe, America and Canada - millions of people are homeless, insane violence everywhere and skyhigh cost of living, extremely high taxes, draconian laws to curb people's wealth, etc. These countries are just zombie countries.
I really feel sorry for your boyfriend. His girlfriend was stolen by something that didn't value her at all 😭 and it was him who introduced her to it. however I do understand why your degree couldn't get you a job. Singapore does politics very differently and it has worked out almost perfectly so nobody wants to hear the opinions of a foreign "expert" However, I personally am intrested in your opinions about singapore's way of doing politics and I hope to see you give an evaluation based on your professional capabilities. It's probably not going to be popular for a RUclips video but maybe you could publish it somewhere else 😁 even if you're only able to do it in schweiserdeutsch it's fine I can get my friend to translate it for me. 😉 please.
WHAT!? your ex-boyfriend didn't like Singapore? Maybe your ex preferred life in New York City, America where you can carry guns, yeah! Where everyday is a adventure.👍
lol bad decision ever , Singapore is a boring place , being singaporean myself , overpopulated, overpressured by too many rules and laws. It’s too expensive

Sometimes we chatted among our friends about you and i had friends who claimed you are fake , blah blah blah how you are not even swiss. A friend who disagrees otherwise, said home is where the heart is , just follow our hearts.

I have so many questions but the main are:
1 - As Switzerland girl, you were able to stay in Singapore for a whole year without a permit or something?
2- What kind of permit did you had that allowed you to create your own company?
@@Adrian-bc7bw 1- no, I had a LTVP
2- anyone can set up a company
same here!
:)
We love you that how it is
You got this. May fortune smile upon you and your endeavours! Well, if you're keen I can bring you to the temples for blessings and stuff, haha

You can consider giving up your Swiss citizenship and apply for citizenship here if you like it here 😊
For a next step I would be happy with PR ;)
@ most foreigners here are like that want best of both worlds , when come to citizenship they will back out when questioned
Just hope you don’t go down to this path 😊

Hi, just one question. When you were with your ex, and not working, how did you live here legally? Is dependent pass approved for girlfriends?
Yes, a so--called Long-Term-Visit-Pass (LTVP) you can find all info on MoM website :)
Very Brave decision.

No nature and bad air quality ? Thank You
That's an intruiging idea indeed, establish a private limited company to employ yourself to stay in Singapore. Keep on the good work. Maybe once your company or you have contributed to Singapore a lot in terms revenue/tax, or promoting it to the world for cultural exchange or businesses... Such efforts may aid you favorably in your PR application. Ganbatte.
this is so kind and sweet, thank you! Also for the support!

Don't give up your swiss passport. The SG passport isn't worth it, really!
SG will be harder and harder to live & make a living. Really worried for the future generations of SINGAPORE... SG might not exist in the next 50 years.
ohh.. not planning to give up my Swiss passport, but hope to get PR:..
Omg
I really feel sorry for your boyfriend. His girlfriend was stolen by something that didn't value her at all 😭 and it was him who introduced her to it. however I do understand why your degree couldn't get you a job. Singapore does politics very differently and it has worked out almost perfectly so nobody wants to hear the opinions of a foreign "expert"
However, I personally am intrested in your opinions about singapore's way of doing politics and I hope to see you give an evaluation based on your professional capabilities. It's probably not going to be popular for a RUclips video but maybe you could publish it somewhere else 😁 even if you're only able to do it in schweiserdeutsch it's fine I can get my friend to translate it for me. 😉 please.
Come to America, much more easier to get a job. And I will make you an American citizen. Singapore is way too small
but I have a job ;)
How to get a work visa in singapore without looking for employment. Ok . At least they are not competing with Singaporeans for jobs. 😅
