She was sooooo upset and cornered me in my op asking me why would I call her Sue and that it made her very uncomfortable to be called that. I of course apologized and now I always call patients by their full name!

I mean how are we supposed to know?! They spell their names just like the common names and pronouns it differently! 🤷🏻♀️ sorry but our jobs doesn’t include reading minds
