Toughness, grit and a dog mentality is something NBA scouts need to focus on when drafting players and the 2020 and 2023 Miami Heat are an example of that 💯
The bad thing is that all these overachievers will get a bigger contract on other teams and then look like the low-rated players that they were originally thought to be. Happens to a lot of players after they get a bag. I wish they could all keep their manageable contracts and stay with the heat, but that's not realistic
Max strus is getting a decent contract still probably I think Gabe will get overpaid and leave and Miami will probably make trades and have 2 more undrafted guys come on the roster
It is realistic once teams start to not overteact on players having an unusually good season. They're falling over each other trying to rush in because no one wants to be the GM who slept on an "up and coming star." I guess they'll learn eventually and will wait at least a season and a half to get these guys at the trade deadline or wait two full seasons and pursue them in the off-season.
Not only has Miami fostered a culture of bringing in guys that want to win, but one where they are willing to do what it takes to improve evolve their game.
This is pretty much the same team that had the number 1 seed in the East last year and just lost in the ECF to Boston. They also have the same core that lost to the Lakers in the bubble finals. These guys are battle scarred veterans, not cinderella underdogs.
As a Heat fan, it’s actually surreal to see how far this team has come so fast. Feels like I’ve watched Strus, Gabe, Duncan & others all grow up lol

Also, older rookie's should not be overlooked.
2022 as well. 2021 was our only “down” year in that span and we know why.

Duncan I hope can have a decent year again atleast and have 12-14 points a game

@@sulwhale3171 Can’t believe teams will overpay for these UDFA bums…..
@@sulwhale3171 just curious, on what are you basing your conclusion of gabe Vincent being the one to leave?

Victor was part of the core before he was injured. I mean he was a big factor in last years run, they also resigned him for a reason.
Sixers would have won if Sixers management hadn’t insisted they baby Ben Simmons and let butler facilitate the offense
That sneak diss title is wild😂
There are actually 3 lottery picks on this team herro bam and k love

What a shock LeBron tried to get rid of Spo. Ridiculous
Always the best arguments 💯
Im not a heat but. I like the topic for this video.
You have to know who the coaches' father is
That LeBron news wanting Heat coach was debunked both by the coach and owner, next time do your job instead of farming likes
