- Starfield build inspired by the Eagle-1 from Space:1999. It is an A-class ship requiring level 60 to access all ship parts, a ship builder at an outpost, and Starship Design rank 2, and a trip to the New Homestead Nova Galactic ship technician on the Saturn moon Titan. I hope you like the build, and that you are inspired to make the ship your own. That and the enterprise were my favorite space ships to watch as a kid... "Eagle one" "moon base alpha" brings back memories. I think this is my next build it's simple and purposeful 😊
I watched the original with my father when I was very young. Thanks for the comment!
Man, that was FAST! Thank you for putting that together! I really appreciate how much of Starfields design options work for this classic SCi-Fi vessel! And I can't express how blown away at the speed that the video went up! Will certainly be checking out your Livestreams on Twitch! Thanks again!
Best spaceship ever!
I agree, it's too classic to be beat.
Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!!
Glad you like it.
There are some pipe style structural elements from Hopetech that might have looked good on the top of the Eagle. great job!
I kinda wish there was an easier way for me to revisit some of the designs. Thanks for the tip!
Really loved that show. Prpoer old school sham starfield dont do fighters so we could do buck Rogers great vid 👍🇬🇧
The scale of even an A-class fighter is much greater than the Thunderfighter. It didn't keep me from making a Viper, but of course it's not to scale. =(
Eagle One - immediate launch! Thanks for that matey
Good suggestions become reality here. Thanks for watching.
I'm of an age - so I have always loved the Eagle 1.
I'm going to have a go at a version of it, but it may end up being quite a bit bigger - although that may work out a bit better as the chunkier landing gear may then look OK.
Make it your own! It's one of the best things about these builds... there are so many ways to go about it.
@@QuestaelTV Absolutely. My Millenium Falcon is made up from 3 guides I found. My current main is also cobbled together using inspiration from several sources.
Plus it is so satisfying to make a build and then be able to walk into it and fly it around. Especially if it's a dream ship from your favorite show(s).
And double especially if the pesky ladders and doorways work out. 🤣
That's a different take from mine, and I will now follow your design, as I like it so much better. Thanks for this!!!!!
You're welcome! I had fun working it out.
❤
Love me some EAGLE!!!! Nice job!!!! Here's a challenge for you: A FLYING SAUCER!!!!
It crossed my mind. Maybe War of the Worlds or The Day the Earth Stood Still? Thanks for the compliment.
@@QuestaelTV I think the Martian War Machines from "The War of the Worlds" would be problematic. Something on the lines of Klaatu's ship from "The Day the Earth Stood Still", or maybe Space Cruiser C57-D from "Forbidden Planet". Or the ship from "This Island Earth".
Space Cruiser C57D it is. Look for it soon.
I knew someone would do this build. Starfield is too close to the same tech not to lol.
Maybe it was their inspiration? 🤷♂
Now i want to make thunderbird 2
I'll add it to my list. Maybe we can compare.
Thank you, Sir. Very well done. I tried to reproduce the Eagle 5 without a reference and failed. I grew up with the show. Probably still have it in my archives somewhere. I'm going to have to look and find out.
I'd love to see what you built. Feel free to post it to my Twitter if you have a screenshot, @QuestaelTV.
You shouldn't build a ship until at least ranks 2 in design and 2 in piloting. Those are easy to from the Vanguard sim.
