The thing you pulled out of the glove box are the keys to remove the factory radio :)
They are decent cars and will be running after the bombs drop, i drive a TDI hatchback version of this.
Lol everyone mocks the nascar tire clearing trick as some fun stunt but it does realy help figure out how bad the suspension really is.

Volkswagen Golf as a variant. The car is known as being absolutely reliant even after 20 years of use. There are even older ones on German roads. The mk I Golf in America known as the rabbit is even a very worthy vintage car. In German "Oldtimer".
German engineering, you won’t break it. Needs to go back on the road. I need the stereo for my 2000 beetle.

I just paid the same $3000 for a 2009 Nissan Micra in extremely good condition. No spiders, urinal cake smells or Rona vents!
Sadly though, the Jetta appears in better health than my 2001 Toyota Yaris, which has just had to be put down due to the vehicular equivalent of osteoporosis 😢
Similar to carthritis but less fixable.
I had that exact car. It was a pos the day it rolled off the assembly line.

U gotta do some of the jokes u did on the drone NeWS this week!
Just a note back then it was illegal to have tv dash display on wile driving hens no back up cameras. All TV displays had an ignition kill switch turning them off if car was started.
Few cars had them and u had to install them yourself
