I will say - as someone who is 31, the nice thing with turning 30 it’s like that anxiety all goes out the window. You look around like, “well I am not married with kids yet…. So what” and than you don’t really think about it again. But the time leading up to it I definitely felt the same way!

I was going through the same, when I turned 30. But not only relating to marriage, in general, I started to worry about what my goals in life are, what I had done so far with my life. It took me a while to get used to it and now I feel ok, I'd say. I don't feel that "old". Sometimes I'm just worried because time flies by so quickly!
Also, I'm 34 and I'm still not married. When I turned 30 I tried really hard to go on dates, meet someone. But in the end, there are a lot of things we cannot influence I guess. But as you already said - you will be ok! :)
As someone who is also in her late 20’s I can confirm that I am also super anxious and just sad at times about turning 30 soon. It’s so stressful and I feel that as a woman it’s worse. I really love that your talking about it instead of just kind of faking that you’re okay. Makes me feel less lonely and understood. I'm 29 and I can totally relate to how you feel with the pre-30 anxiety. I spent the past couple of years living abroad and teaching and had the best time and now I'm back home and trying to 'settle' but I think deep down all I really want to do is go back overseas again!

I feel you when it comes to the pre-30 anxiety. I am 26 and I feel like life has been nothing but a major roller coaster and the pandemic definitely had a huge impact on it. It's like I have done a few things here and there but I am not getting further in life, which is also my fault because of my anxiety amd then there is pressure from so many people who expect you to achieve things by a specific age. it's hard not to feel the struggle and compare yourself with others, but don't forget that you are not alone! and you are doing great! we all have to speak it into existence that going into our thirties will not make us old or less worthy just because we are not doing the same like everyone else at age xyz. YOU DO YOU.

I think this is a problem of this world today, as time rushes so quick, you have the technical things and this make you feel kind of numb. You should go back to a technical detoxed life where life and the hours feel different from this.
as someone who’s turning 34 this year without a house to call my own or a “stable career”, I’ve learned that continuously living in endless regrets and unrealistic expectations will only drive me to an even darker place than I already am in. therapy is inaccessible and expensive where I am so I am trying to take things slower and thoughtfully everyday. key word being “trying”. trying to live more in the present because life is short. I hope for peace to everyone who reads this comment and success to what everyone’s working towards to.
When I turned 30 I had only my son and a full time job and yet I longed for the traditional things like a husband, many kids and to be a stay at home mom. Literally less than two months after my birthday I broke up with my awful fiance, started dating my forever person and went on my 'honeymoon' cruise with him and my son! Now, nine years later I have four beautiful children and stay at home with them, creating content in my spare time and we will be buying a dream home this summer. It might take a while, or it might happen so suddenly, but don't give up on what you want in life! Cheers!

also, i know that the pre-30 anxiety is scary. i am only 21 but i feel a lot of pressure already to be at a successful place in my life. but life doesn't end at 30! you have an amazing youtube channel and lovely friends. you should feel accomplished for that! you will find a family at the right time and that is different for everyone

Another vlog that I enjoyed! My favorite part is when you said that you have “zero prospect” (for a lover) and girl, samedt! HAHHAHAHA so I can totally relate. When we’re already at our pre30s, sometimes (?) it makes me think that it’ll be harder to make genuine connections unlike when we’re in our teens and experiencing the height of romantic journey. Hopefully, we’ll find the one! In God’s perfect time; because it may sound cringey but true love is worth waiting for! 😊🌻

26-29 is really the most messed up time for me, mental and mind wise. My finance was suck, I relied too much on other's validation, no boundaries at all. I got that pre 30 anxiety too, the feeling of I've done nothing, a messed up love life, my career seems so so while almost all of my friends already reaching the new stage in life (marriage, children, higher position in career). BUT I'm here to tell you, if you do it right, you gonna enjoy your 30s so much. I'm 33 now and still single, still in the same work position, but I got so much growth to finally see the beauty of getting older. I love myself better, I fix my finance (just bought my own house!), overall taking care of myself better. I also feel the prettiest in my age now. So, hang on there. It really will only get better :)

Before turning 30s I had the same concerns as well but once passed it doesnt sound bad as it looks like. Age is indeed a number, i even enjoy my thirties more than my twenties, its a different dynamic.

I go to sleep and wake up with this thought sometimes. I’m also 27 and 30 in 2 years and all career aspirations aside I do want to build a family, that’s probably my biggest goal in life, but I’m here with no prospect in sight and although I know I have to enjoy my single years and don’t want children right now, it is still unconsciously giving me anxiety, my mind goes sometimes « hurry or you’ll be 30 and alone », although I know it’s absolutely fine if I’m 30 and still single but my mind always goes back and fourth like this 😌

I identify so much with what you said about pre-30 anxiety... I'm the same age as you and I'm single and although my parents and those closest to me don't pressure me directly, from time to time comes that question of "do you already have a boyfriend?", "don't you think about getting married and starting a family?", "you're almost 30!" ... these questions end up making me anxious because, like you, I always imagined myself getting married and being a relatively young mother. However, here I am, 27 years old and the only thing I have is my job. These things and seeing my acquaintances with the same age as me, already with family and kids makes me anxious, honestly. But I try not to think about it too much and let life just happen. One day it will be my turn! And yours too! Btw...I really love your videos and they always have such a good vibe that they always leave me in a good mood and usually hungry too 😄🤍

I got married and had my first child at 33 then had my second child 4 years later. I had my dream career when I was 43. I’m am 48 now and it’s funny how one of my patients referred to me as the “young one” according to my coworker who’s 3 years younger than me. I do look 20 years younger than my real age and I guess it is in my genes. I’m lucky in that sense (I used to hate it when I was in high school because I looked like a young kid when every girl looked looked like a young lady already). Anyhow, age is just a number indeed. As long as you’re living, keep dreaming your dreams and one day, each and everyone of them will become a reality. You’re also lucky because not only do you look young for your age but you are fit as well! Live well, Kieun!👍🏻💗

I panicked when turning 30 I went and got my 1st tattoo haha but turning 40 didnt bother me, turning 50 in over a years time and I can get anxious at the thought, time goes by so fast. Also dont worry about the husband, kids and dog life as they will happen when the timing is right. I didnt marry till I was nearly 32 :-)
