Love your vids! Certain the 2nd location will be a banger. Hope you get an assistant or finance director in the future to handle taxes, P&Ls, & quickbooks for you. You're doing the meetings, making larger moves, and having the big ideas. Spending your time signing paper checks 😱 no way!
When I open my second location I def will hire someone who will do it for me! I wanted to save as much as I could for now and do what I can do so I could open this year
your videos are definitely calming! although i can understand that we're just seeing the calmest version of the chaos lol - i think that's how it is; back when i was dealing with a lot of chaos, my friends always said i seemed like i had it all together!

im not sure if you do already but you should get a business/work phone. if you open a second location, you are only going to get busier & getting a second phone really helps with making sure business stays where it belongs, which does get hard when you manage employees / have a service business.
vote on hiring a bookkeeper if you are nervous about checks. if you already have a CPA for taxes, i would recommend someone with bookkeeper cert because 2 CPAs is expensive lol. someone who has past experience with salons as well b/c money in/out is much more involved than non-service businesses.

I wish I had more of your calm personality- usually I’m frazzled and fraught with anxiety when my life is a chaotic mess (like it is rn 😂) Especially if I’m overwhelmed, I go into analysis paralysis 😵💫😵💫😵💫 Anywho, hope the 2nd location gets secured soon so you can get the ball rolling and open by summer! Hi! I think I just feel anxious when I’m not doing anything 😓 I feel unproductive when I’m don’t get anything done. But also at the same time it’s really exciting when I achieve something - and I think that’s what keeps me going
For me, keeping a schedule helps to stay productive! Doing things one by one and having a checklist! Hope this helps 🤍

3:56 girl how are you a business owner and don't know what a profit-loss statement is... I really hope you take this seriously and learn how to run a business (especially how to file taxes correctly) because it can really harm you and your business if you don't.
It’s self-explanatory what it is but I wasn’t sure how to form it bc it was my first year lol It may seem like I’m not taking anything seriously because you’re only seeing 10 minutes of my life but I think I’m doing quite well, I’m always learning as I go.
What an ignorant comment to make. You can be a business owner and still not know everything there is to know. That’s part of owning a business you learn as you go and sometimes make mistakes and learn from them as well.
