In this jazzy, brief-but-brilliant work, Lucienne performs with French hornist Florian Abacherli, trumpeters Philipp Hutter and Dominic Wunderli, trombonist Simone Maffioletti, and tubist Hans Duss. She has recorded the rest of her album with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester and conductor Michael Sanderling.

Lucienne's spirit and warmth are so inspiring; then blended perfectly with an awesome, awesome performance . Great group too ! I listened to several versions on here and I loved this one as much as Harry James's and Maurice Murphy, but I never wanted to hug either of them :) .

She's a phenomenal trumpet player, but if you actually are used to listening to Harry James play this on the original recording, she falls quite short. Her playing has none of the brash, ferocious, punchy attitude that Harry played with. Everything is just too nice, too refined, too neatly placed. You don't have to try to perfectly copy the original but there is a scope of style you have to fall in and she missed.
