He even had an empty plastic juice jug with "whiskey" written on it. This year I'll probably just walk around in my Jack Skellington dress and go eat at a haunted restaurant. That's the way adults celebrate Halloween.
One of my favorite parts of Halloween is making my own costumes. Like Dorthy, I was a fancy vampire wearing my hoco dress, and this year I’m getting a old looking oversized shirt and putting fake blood all over it and make my face look creepy
When I was a super young child my family didn’t have enough money to buy a costume every year for Halloween, so we made them. My mom always made me feel better by saying that no one else in the world had the same costume as me. Now we have enough money to buy them, but we still love to make them ourselves ❤ it’s what makes Halloween my favorite holiday
People are spending $30 to dress like a cup meanwhile I’m reusing the same dress from 8th grade graduation for the third Halloween in a row(I’m in 11th grade now)
I'm using stuff I bought at a thrift store for my costume; I'm gonna dress as one of my own characters. I'm not a trick or treater anymore, but I still like to dress up when I can.

When my sister and I were little, our Abuela always made our Halloween costumes. Halloween was my favorite time of the year when I was a kid because I knew that a family member spent hours making my costume, and I always wanted to show it off- one of my earliest memories was when I was five, and Abuela made me a bat onesie for Halloween (picture a black onesie with a purple oval on the abdomen, a black hood with pointy ears, and purple wings hanging from black sleeves); I was so proud, I was showing off my costume to everyone! I would go up to people and say “my abuela turned me into a bat!” Now, though, people just dress their kids up as TikTok trends, and it’s just sad. Where’s the love? Where’s the fun? This hyper-consumption culture is rotting people’s brains, and taking the fun out of one of the best holidays of the year. These companies should be ashamed of themselves.
Its so sweet she would make a costume for u I always wanted one of my family members to make me a cool costume or even just to get a group of friends and make each others costumes but I always do some kind of ghost or witch for Halloween this year I'm gonna be a devil If you had the time could u please tell me more about the other costumes u had
When I was in 8th grade, I dressed as the Vita Coco coconut water. Although the only difference is that I made my own costume. People got laughs out of it and commented on my creativity. I don’t have time to make my own costume this year because of marching band, but I recommend making your own costumes. It’s more fun and it could be cheaper depending on the materials you buy.

What the f**k?!"
Thank God this year will be the last year I go trick or treating on Halloween, I won't need to see horrendous costumes ( il be at home watching hoor films and eat Halloween candy next year)
There are some hardcore spirit Halloween fans out there who like collecting stuff from there. The hawk tuah stuff is prolly only gonna be around this year so that probably why so many people bought it
I was so happy to see a whole as damn cosplayer in my street last year, even if you don’t dress up, seeing other people’s costumes is part of the joy, no one gets joy from being a sponcer that they had to PAY to be
Me and my friend were in target and decided to stop by the costumes; in which we noticed the target costumes. We stopped by to laugh and we thought nothing of it but now that I think about it at the time
The Skibidi Toilet costume is unironically hilarious and would be a great "shit post" costume to change into at the end of the night when you are all drunk enough at the party.

"You only get one single day every year to have an excuse to dress up as your favorite character"

Cons:
The last Halloween I ever trick or treated on was with my younger brother.
I just dressed up as a Renaissance barmaid and my brother went as an alcoholic.
We need to start gatekeeping Halloween.🎃
If I see someone in a skibidi toilet costume… or a STANLEY CUP???!!?? I will cry
Same😔
Lol my brother’s friend is being the skibidi toilet costume
Man I saw hawk tuah costumes😭😭
People are spending $30 to dress like a cup meanwhile I’m reusing the same dress from 8th grade graduation for the third Halloween in a row(I’m in 11th grade now)
I'm using stuff I bought at a thrift store for my costume; I'm gonna dress as one of my own characters.
I'm not a trick or treater anymore, but I still like to dress up when I can.
@@OverlordZeroULTIMA ooooooh, that’s fun. I do costumes for the ren fair and my friends Halloween party!
I wanna dress as Ponmi from The Amazing Digital Circus
LITERALLY ME I'm also in eleventh grade and I'm still using this cloak I got at spirit Halloween back in sixth grade 😭
I buy costumes and Keep them for cosplays I don’t think someone even fit me anymore.
Greedy corporations went from milking tf out of pride month to making Halloween costumes on plastic forks and literal napkins. Im gonna crash out if i see someone in my neighborhood wearing the chipotle paper pag costume or the pink janitor jumpsuit with *" HAWK TUAH "* plastered all over it

incredibly disturbing how the Hawk Tuah "costume" says it's for ages 14+
I don't even know what the fuck it is.
@@Kepora1 it's a meme where a podcast girl does these cringy, owl-like sounds that I'm guessing are supposed to be sexual like "hawk tuah" and the name of the podcast is "talk tuah"

It's moments like these you really start to wonder why we don't see serial killers anymore.
It’s because they’re all wearing the Chipotle fork costume
Because those people are influencers now. No, seriously. Highly attention-seeking, low impulse control, faking human emotions, think they're smarter than they really are.
@@TrueImmortalityThe entire lunchly squad probably has at least killed some people. In that one photo they took together every one of them was doing a psychopath face.
Dressing as a sleep paralysis demon, such as the "hat man" would make a lot more sense as a Halloween outfit.
A friend of mine was such a smart a$$ he dressed as life for Halloween last year and went around with a basket of lemons giving lemons to everyone
LMAOOOOOOOO 😭😭😭😭😭💀💀💀💀 IM CACKLING
Its so sweet she would make a costume for u I always wanted one of my family members to make me a cool costume or even just to get a group of friends and make each others costumes but I always do some kind of ghost or witch for Halloween this year I'm gonna be a devil
If you had the time could u please tell me more about the other costumes u had

When I was in 8th grade, I dressed as the Vita Coco coconut water. Although the only difference is that I made my own costume. People got laughs out of it and commented on my creativity. I don’t have time to make my own costume this year because of marching band, but I recommend making your own costumes. It’s more fun and it could be cheaper depending on the materials you buy.
i swear to god if i open my door on halloween and see a kid dressed up as a stanley they are NOT getting any candy

Give them a water bottle, If they’re a cup they might as well get water:3

Why are you talking in bold italic text?
Thyre literally just selling morphsuits and calling them something theyre not
So we're just wearing sexual activities as a costume now? How is this a good thing?
I get what you're saying, but Halloween has always had sexualized costumes so to be fair, this is absolutely nothing new on this front.
...wh...which one is supposed to be sexualised
@@weirdlittlesister I'm assuming they mean the Hawk Tuah girl costume.
I once saw an "eggplant" costume at a Halloween store last year. Halloween didn't change much with the sex costumes.

There are some hardcore spirit Halloween fans out there who like collecting stuff from there. The hawk tuah stuff is prolly only gonna be around this year so that probably why so many people bought it
Because it's gonna be completely irrelevant by next Halloween. Gotta stick with the trends! /sarcasm
I was so happy to see a whole as damn cosplayer in my street last year, even if you don’t dress up, seeing other people’s costumes is part of the joy, no one gets joy from being a sponcer that they had to PAY to be

Bro what happened to fun costumes????? I’m 15 and I still dress up as “childish” things like game characters and this year I’m gonna be a pokemon trainer. If someone calls my costume stupid and they are wearing anything along the lines of a cup, walking advertisement, or an (in my opinion) unfunny video, I will probably implode.
You’re legitimately becoming 1 of my fav RUclipsrs, love your videos. Funny asf, can’t even remember the last costume I bought
Nah, my cousin was Sharknado for like, 4 years. My aunt and uncle made the costume. It was rigged with lights, an actual "tornado" and sharks "flying" out of the tornado. Idk man, I wanna be Sophia Petrillo for Halloween, but I also wanna dress up with someone and I wouldn't mind being Heath Ledger Joker.
I fully believe houses will be egged for not giving Stanleys and Sephora products
I'm scared of pulling up to millennial houses only to find the "candy" being Drunk Elephant. 😭
Last year the person I call a friend came as a beggar, the worst thing is that he was wearing a good costume, he passed by the caravan to show that he had a beard and even got a cardboard thing that said 'give me alms', it was so good that people jokingly gave him money, he made 50 bucks in the end
