Very exciting time! I know you didn’t ask for it, but here is some advice, lol. Babies grow FAST. I would recommend stocking up on baby wipes more than nappies. They grow out of them so fast, but you will ALWAYS need baby wipes, lol. We didn't buy wipes for a year it was so good.
Love this! For the baby registry, because I'm a planner I had so many items purchased for us (or we bought) in advance, and we didnt even use half of it. For example, the bottle steriflizer.... my baby would NEVER take a bottle! It was stressful but sometimes baby decides what their preferences are. I think Babylist offers a pacifier sampler kit so you can see which one baby will take! And pro-tip, move the baby mobile over the diaper changing area instead. It'll stimulate them too much when you're trying to get them to go to sleep, but keep them occupied enough when you are trying to change diapers! I'm so excited for you. Love seeing you glowing with glee.

I remember being so overwhelmed doing our baby registry, just be gentle with yourself and remember you can always swap things out if you change your mind 😂 I know you said you guys are still going back and forth on the car seat/stroller ; I'm gonna throw in my vote for the Doona-absolutely amazing, so convenient, we realllllllyyyy loved ours. She's 3 now and we've moved on to the Evenflo 360 and a wagon stroller, but miss the sweet Doona days! Whatever you pick will be perfect for your family, its so hard to choose from all the options!! ❤
Oh the car seat / stroller woos (gosh decision fatigue got me lol), but for registry - add a pack of large muslin swaddle blankets they are used for eeeeveryything (they swaddle, become a baby blanket, a nursing cover for you, car seat cover when out and about, and of course a burp wipe). We had 4 in rotation
So glad you had a great 20 week appointment! Love seeing you go through this process with so much positive news and excited for you for what’s to come. For your new wardrobe… give yourself 2-3 years (yes that seems long) but your body continues to change for that amount of time after having a baby. You’ll most likely be thin from breast feeding /pumping should you choose to do that and then your metabolism may slow down again after that. Just speaking from experience but i know we are all different 😊 Thanks for sharing your journey ❤
It’s funny because I wondered why I gained while breastfeeding after someone said I would lose weight. That’s when I discovered in mom groups some gain, some lose! Totally depends on the woman
The 20wk scan is so exciting❤ Love the nursery, so pretty! Also, you probably didn't kill your sourdough starter, it's actually really hard to do..I have kept a starter in the fridge for 6mths without feeding and revived it. Check out Emilie Raffa's book/blog/RUclips.
So happy for you!! We were super poor when we had our daughter 6 years ago and we wanted a diaper genie but obviously couldn’t afford one. Then people around us said it was a waste and just throw it in the garage outside. Omg…I wish we had one. The smell…to have one in the diaper changing room will save your life 🤣

it actually closed down sadly :( the week after we went... tbh, there's not a lot of good korean food in austin
@@julesacree I moved back to Texas after being in Seattle for 6+ years and the Asian food here in general is lacking in comparison :(
