Boot capacity for the X1 hybrid is 450, not 505. It loses 55 litres as a hybrid.

Nice review thanks… question regarding the Xdrive part of the car…. I understand that when in pure electric the car is Rwd and to have 4wd both the petrol and electric need to be running…. But if the car battery is at zero can the car still operate as a 4wd? Thanks…

Hi Paul. Thanks for your comment. Dependent on driving mode, the car will utilise either front, rear or all wheel drive but this is of course reliant on electric range being available. If electric range is gone, the 1.5 3cyl petrol engine is powering only the front wheels. We hope this helps and if you would like more information, please get in contact with one of our sites.
