Let's go, Judah! Great message. Christians should be the most ego-dead people in the world, and it starts with saying: I was wrong. The first time I saw Judah Smith was around when I first became Christian 6 years ago, at a young adult conference. He wore spandex, gave a message I didn't like (at the time), and to be frank, I judged him and didn't like him as a pastor. Boy was I WRONG about him - and I'm glad I was. He's now one of my favorite pastors :)
"If you walk around with your nose in the air, you're going to end up flat on your face, but if you're content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself." Luke 18:14 ... YES !
you are the only preacher my 16 yr old likes to listen to. I love your preaching too, i reccomend you to my non believer friends because you are full of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
One of my favorite preachers has told people to throw out books and sermons he did years ago cause he had it wrong, or not fully right and corrected it as he’s grown in almost 40 years of preaching
Pastor Judah! What an amazing message. I know entering into this next season of life where I trust God is going to provide more responsibility and leadership opportunities, I need to take a hard look at myself and continually humble myself and admit my wrongs both horizontally and vertically. Thank you for the amazing wisdom and allowing God to use you in powerful ways! You are wrong about the Seahawks this year, Go Niners! Or maybe I will be wrong, let you know in January. God bless!
Very edifying about admitting when we are wrong and tying that to the first step of the Gospel of free grace. I would really encourage you to throw away the Message and look into a King James version of the Bible. "Be yourself" in the Message? that's not what God says ... He said, as you rightly quoted elsewhere, he who humbles himself will be exalted (this doesn't mean to "be yourself"), it means to remain humble. The true message is the holy Word of God in the King James for English speakers.
@@blesswillw8629 well maybe the message if for himself and others , not all message can trigger all life situations . Sometimes God heals a blind and the next day a human soul
@@blesswillw8629 there’s a sermon where judah talks about repentance. he does believe sin is evil and we should turn away from sin as much as possible. but often people think repentance is by changing themselves and their bad habits but that doesn’t lead to true change because it stems from their self effort. We are too weak to fight against sin, and we don’t have the answer in and of ourselves. True change comes from the inside when Jesus meets you. When we behold Jesus, we have a change of heart and turn away from our err wrong and sin because we are filled with the love of Jesus. That is what judah preaches and I think that’s the true gospel, not that we save ourselves but that Jesus saved us

@@BloodBoughtMinistries why? Is Judah’s teaching wrong?
Good word my brother, so needed to hear this at this moment! Truly a HOG Moment (Hand Of God) Can we become a CH Satellite
Is this a continuation of the “what I wish more preachers would say” series?

This is a false teacher!
Yeah really isn’t
Why is he a false teacher?

This is very immature preaching. He talked about sin with no repentance. Just a circle of self help nonsense. This is not the gospel
No I think the whole sermon was about repentance.
@@stuffnthings1316 that was my hope. He talked more about himself and preachers being honest.

This guy is the worst "pastor". absolutely DISGUSTING how he uses the Name of the Lord in vain! you will answer to God one day man. God is not mocked!
What did you disagree with?
did Jesus told you that ? It is wise to comment such thing with your own advice?
Don’t even say what you disagree with. Good one
This guy is so self centered on his preaching, Christ is only the background in his preaching. The gospel is about self denial
No he isn’t
The sermon is about admitting that we are wrong? I don’t see anything wrong with that... u should look at his other sermons, it is all about Jesus!
