  • One of the short films friends of mine made for my birthday. It's an homage to the opening scene of one of my all-time favourite movies, Michelangelo Antonioni's L'Eclisse (Eclipse) (1962).

happy birthday, you have very nice friends to have done this for you. but maybe a little too much action for an antonioni film.

better to have started with something like the cord striking the flagpole, i think.

compliments. You try to remake a bit, a masterpiece like the eclipse.
It's not easy you know. What's inside the Antonioni's films tell the inability to communicate, the difficulty of living the modern landscape and the biggest of them all: men and women are different and probably not be able to communicate with each. great job anyway

@ewlalah My favourite movies by Antonioni are his first movies from CRONACA DI UN AMORE (1950) to IL DESERTO ROSSO (1964) (I'm sorry I don't know the English titles!).

If you hate Antonioni's movies so much, just ignore them. So they're mannered and slow; you still don't have to crap on them like this.

I'm sorry, but the acting is totally bad. You've turned it into bloody parody
