great video I really like the american style bodygrip conibear traps. I think last year i only got one grey squirrel with my catty but about 15 in traps and that's them doing the work for you while you're off doing something else. great way to passively add meat to the freezer.
@@geodiecarnivore prince mushies are rare hence the name, golden on top. medusa also rare grow in a tight bunch usually under hedgerows. puffballs so good firm steaklike grill boil stew get before they old and dusty they a solid white mass heavy. usually on fields but also in hawthorn hedges. i cut a slice just smaller than a plate. inch half thick slightly hollowed out on plate in oven half hour cook time then put breakfast in ,on it. resteraunt used to give me 5 quid apound for um years ago. freeze the rest an use same as all mushies. oyster also nice usually on hawthorn trees. keep it up pall. not getting on with my new bands need more time they allot powerfuller more practice needed.
@@geodiecarnivore There's some messy buggers out there, go round picking up their rubbish sometimes. You just got sucked in as loads of others shoot lighters. The right rocks explode pretty good just go minding the camera.

Good video❗️We have to have a trappers license in Texas and we also have seasons that we can only trap in, it it similar to that in the UK. How’s Charlie ?

@@geodiecarnivore In Texas we have to have a Hunting and Fishing license fresh water and a separate one for salt water and if we we trap we have to have a trapping license and we have have two SQUIRREL seasons here. Almost £100 for fees and licensing per year.
@@mikemiles3068thats not so good being very strict we also need to have a rod licence in England for fresh water fishing also a permit to fish in most places but not in the sea 👍

Great vid mate, i always used to weather my Fens and snares till they was dull , cold tea works well on the wires 👍
all wild mushies freeze real well. my favorite are prince and medusa. puffballs also real nice.
Nice mate I've not tried those yet, i was surprised puffball are even edible as there full of dust, I take it you only eat the outer layer?

Good advice on the traps, tidy shooting I know people like a lighter pop but my gripe is I don't like the plastic litter.
