- The 2023 Europeah Hill Climb Championship started in France at Col St. Pierre with quite a spectacular entrylist to kink things off. With some very interesting new entries and some regulars coming back, and some of the French Top Hillclimbers making an appearance too, we had plenty of Porsche action both in NA and Twin-Turbo form, 4wd machinery, TCR units and more. In the end this is how they stacked up:

I love the little Simca. Looks like a mutant, sounds like nothing else there. Would love a in depth look at it, I bet it's fascinating under the skin.

Yeah I had never seen at least 2 of these manufacturers before. That Nissan v6 with the styling from a e92 was quite an odd ball too

Mitjet V6 Nissan is the most BMW'est looking Nissan I've ever seen
BMW DTM aesthetics, but full spaceframe chassis by Mitjet on that one.
A toss up between the M3 E92 and the Fabia CT

In hillclimb racing the limits of NA engines are still being pushed HARD!
Hard to beat the naturally aspirated Porsche for sound imo!😃

@@HillClimbMonsters they stack up surprisingly well against the field of RWD and 4WD... running times better than or pretty close to more (theoretically) formidable machines.
Ok that ginetta powered by the Ford Mustang V6... Sounds just as bad as normal mustang V6s lol. Good looking car though.

Same era, same architecture and a number of people who worked on Alpine also helped creat the Jidé/Scora chassis...

@@UselessPressure It means it has everything reworked in order to achieve such an output from that displacement and only thing that remained of engine itself is block while everything else are race spec parts.

It is because it’s TCR racing unit and they’re all front wheel drive.
i wonder how they managed to get 590HP out of the S65B40 NA, wouldnt mind to take a look :D
exactly my thought. when i asked the same question a few days ago, the answer i got was just "thats a race spec engine" ;DD
@@UselessPressure o looked it up and all i found out was it could be a P65 Enginge with max 485hp not 590hp but who am i :D
