This young woman is so based! Good for her for standing against this evil. I have 3 kids at BYU who are so tired of students and professors who are supporting this kind of propaganda.
It’s time to consider sending your kids to another university. Clearly in the BYU field the enemy has sewn land mines. Are you sending your kids in to a mine field?
@@andrewwood6285 Its still a good university in the hard sciences. Just avoid the soft sciences and humanities entirely. You can learn that stuff more effectively outside university these days.
It’s sad that there are many wolves umong us & that’s why we need to be in tune with the spirit to know them. I don’t trust anyone in the Church unless it’s manifested unto my by the Holy Ghost. I’ve got into it with a Bishop & another Bishop has deceived me. I told one Bishop that the Lord told me to get off deppession medication. The Bishop didn’t believe me & I told me to trust the Dr. No way because one Dr about killed my Mother with Meds. I fasted what the Lord wanted me to do & I listened to Him when othere’s didn’t want me off of Meds. I found out I was spiritually sick & Meds were hurting me. I found out I become violent with most Meds. I proved everyone wrong & I gave a talk in Church that I mentioned how the Lord didn’t want me on Meds. After my talk the Bishop who at first didn’t believe me got up after I talked & made comments about my talk. He told the congregation to listen to the Drs & Meds where created for our good. I was just sharing my experience what the Lord wanted me to do. I’m still friends with that Bishop & later he helped me out a lot through one of my trials. He was a fairly new Bishop at the time but still we can’t trust everyone & only trust the Lord.
All the way back in the 1980’s there were issues particularly in Science classes where professors at BYU would oppose the truth and actively steer you to worldly philosophies. Their test questions forced you to choose between the falsities they taught and gospel truth. This was unnecessary and an active antichrist spirit- they will reap the rewards of their works. It is our responsibility to know the truth and stand firm in it, even when evil individuals or powers attempt to intimidate. In the scheme of things these workers of darkness are like chaff… they are nothing compared to the power of God, and the power of truth!
How is she standing up for the truth? She did drop the class she didn’t file a complaint with the dean or school administration she didn’t raise any concerns in front of the class. She meekly submitted.
My daughter just finished a religion class from BYU-Idaho that studied the 12 articles of faith and how they help to combat the current social evils of the world. It was a virtual class she took at home so I was able to go through it with her. The class is a very gospel centered, scripture based look at the social evils of the world. THAT'S how a class should be taught at BYU. We should teach our children to look at the world through the lens of the gospel of Jesus Christ rather than the other way around.
As someone who was kicked out of BYU, and understood their decision, I would like to see BYU drop that same hammer on more management and professors. I was a terror at BYU. Loads of pranks, etc. Got a 0.7 GPA my first year. Rarely went to class. Would go to the testing center and just guess the right answers (still almost getting 6/10 correct lol). They eventually let me back in after my mission and a year elsewhere. I came back and agreed the second time to the code I was signing with a greater understanding of what a privilege it was to go to BYU. The difference with my 18 yr old self vs the 18 yr olds today and their professors is that they think they shouldn't be kicked out. My 18 yr old self expected it!
As a daughter of a professor, it sounds like BYU is gearing up to do this. My dad said that the vibe from University Conference was we are different, and need to be so. BYU cannot follow other institutions.
It's part of the sifting. Sifting you and them. Will you continue to have faith and endure or will you get hard hearted and leave? The teachers teaching this false doctrine will be held accountable by God Himself. This opportunity will weigh in on that judgement. Those students will come out stronger or weaker. Opposition in all things. We are reserved for the latter days for a reason. Can we withstand the heat like we promised?
I can take this class. I'm considering it so I can challenge this professor. As an older adult woman, I'm not afraid or intimidated like these kids would be.
Not a bad idea... How would these professors behave if older, knowledgeable people attended? Ones who pushed back and didn't let bad grades intimidate them, but instead let the kids have a real examples of critical thinking, testimony, and truth? Maybe the BYU problem can be answered by a grassroots movement like this.
Loved this young woman! After seeing so many of her age group lost, hearing her articulate and understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ gives me hope!!! Preach Sister!
I’m the Sunday School President of our ward, I’ve been trying so hard to impress on parents how important it is to teach the gospel in their homes. BYU isn’t the safe haven it once was.
I am so impressed with this young lady and her courage to stand up for truth on the CWIC show! We need more and more courageous latter day saints of all ages who stand up for truth.
And... interviewed by appropriate PH! How is it my tithing is paying for the damnation recipe this woman is spewing?! Had I a child of college preparation, BYU would not be on the list of potentials! Hillsdale? Liberty? Maybe.
Thank you and this amazing YW for covering this. I think many members are unaware of how woke BYU is becoming through these professors. They are definitely teaching against the doctrine and leading so many youth astray.
Wow...just WOW! Just when I think I couldn't be surprised anymore than I have been already, something like this comes out. Bravo to this young lady and her parents! GOD bless them! Thank you so much Greg for giving her a platform to speak. Thank you for shining a light into the dark places. Those professors should be kicked down the road.
Is this class monitored/ approved by the dean and school president? Is this info being passed on to them? It seems that it would go against BYU policy to teach a false world view as truth and appealing.
This young female student gives me hope for the future! BYU needs to root out the professors who are teaching Woke garbage that is not in harmony with Church teachings. I had a couple of these types of professors in my master's program at BYU and it's amazing how they can spin it. Keep up the good work in exposing the evil that walk among us.
The scary part is that they "knowingly" spin it and are happy with their deception and those that they lead away. Many of them are impressed with their knowledge and their ability to influence others and lead them away from a gospel centered life. Evil comes in many forms. Sadly today, many people who engage in it are getting paid handsomely to do it.
"When something feels wrong, then you're right!". I taught this to 3rd graders in a "Yell and Tell" program many years ago (when teachers actually taught). Listen to the Spirit, follow the Scriptures. BE BRAVE!!! Congratulations to this young lady!! 💪🏼🙏❤️
Thank you for providing a forum for parents. I have a daughter at BYU. I have suffered through this as I watch her indoctrination. Went to a "family friendly" drag show not 1000 yards from her dorm a few weeks ago.
Why the sudden interest in exposing CHILDREN to drag performers ? Funny We never hear about the “need” to have more drag shows at bars or adult conventions or adult sports nights …Why the family ? And there is the key . I have an instruction sheet sent out to venues in Utah explaining that drag shows are ALWAYS a “queer “ space for queer expression . Who EXACTLY is demanding this for children but those with an agenda .
@@tomasina10 I've been re-reading 2nd Nephi with my adult children. I assure you, all is *NOT* well in Zion. When you have a sitting US senator disagreeing with the brethren on the religious liberties protections in a "gay marriage" bill, all is not going well behind the scenes.

Our future is not going down the drain after all. This young lady is so smart and articulate and super glad that she is standing on her belief. Great job to the parents 👏 awesome job young lady. Keep up the good work ❤️
How exactly is she standing up? She interviewed on this media but this media is not connected to BYU. Did she say anything to BYU? Did she write a letter to the board of directors? Yeah she is a very nice girl, but like most easily intimidated and ineffective in bringing about change.
Richard Rupert is exactly spot on here. I will also say....... BYU is aware BUT due to lawsuits and etc BYU has there hands bound at times and cannot simple fire a teacher. Also, there are certain social communities that are on a mission so to speak to get themselves hired at BYU and to damage the beauty and sanctity of BYU. I once knocked on a door and was invited in and it was a"Concern Mormons for Christians", an organizations in the 1980's devoted to destroying, distorting and bringing members and mostly exp members of the Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints into its group. I will not give details here but they were all ex members I met. The same goes for BYU there are purposeful persons gaining employment there just like anywhere else. Unfortunately again you cannot just fire easily. In ending and backing up the Great guy who commented above, Richard Rupert I agree with him whole heartly. One last thing, I think this young lady may have unofficially spoken to BYU and that unofficially behind the scenes BYU is aware and always very concerned with these persons and teachers who stealth like come to preach the sermon of woke. So keep your heads high the Lord is aware, BYU is a fantastic place to send your kids and a great experience. Thanks all.
Thank goodness for this young lady reporting on what's being pushed in most universities, and unfortunately BYU also. I hope we can pray for truth to prevail here with this discussion. It's not as complicated as they're making it; it's like they're muddying the water. We must push back, especially in our personal lives, if not publicly. It's simple.
The advantage of having a Church Sponsored college is that YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHOW THE WORLDS POINT OF VIEW. We can present, only, the truth, as in the Family Proclamation. If the world doesn't like it, they don't have to go to BYU. They're, "supposed to" uphold the Church standards there.
Or you can show the world's point of view, but then contrast that with revealed truth and promoting a gospel centered message. Shielding them from the world's point of view doesn't do them any favors.
@@davidfrey5654 They get enough of the World's point of view in K1-12, and get the contrast in our homes, and in our Church meetings. The problem with the, woke, rebellious, BYU Professors, even as few as they may be, is that they don't give them the Churches point of view, and won't give them the Churches point of view. They deceptively teach false doctrine, without openly coming out in opposition to the Church, but twist it to make it sound like it's in harmony with the Church. It's Satan's way to indoctrinate our children. A half truth is worse than a whole lie. These young adults, many whom are away from their families, and friends, who were their Gospel support, for the first time in their lives are ALONE, and sometimes in a group who are going along with the teachings of these woke professors. Most people in The Church view The Church Universities, and secondary schools, AS THE CHURCH, so that they think anything taught there is in harmony with THE GOSPEL. I am a convert to The Church, and know what it's like having to be around non member friends, and family, and to be able to combat peer pressure. When it's open opposition to The Church teachings, it's much easier to combat, than when it's deceptive opposition coming from those who should be teaching correct principles. Yes, everyone in The Church should have their own testimony, and should be able to be led by The Spirit, but we're talking about the most vulnerable of our members. DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY OF OUR YOUTH WE LOSE DURING THESE YEARS? We have been told that EVEN THE VERY EL:ECT CAN BE DECIEVED, in these Last Days. Take it from one who has a Parodical Son, which I pray will come back some day, I DO NOT WANT TO SEE ANYONE ELSE HAVE THEIR CHILDREN FALL PREY TO THE WORLD.
@J Doe Does BYU receive grants or funding from some government entity? This could be the answer as to why... It's sad to see even "church policy" being swayed by public regulations, statutes and codes... God's law seems to be second to the ever powerful GOVERNMENT... It's sad that one is required to obtain permission from the state before they can be sealed to their mate for time and all eternity. I thought that was between our Maker and our spouses?
@J Doe Law is absolute and every man woman and child are subject to it. Statutes, codes, regulations... etc are for those who consent to being subjected to it. In their own declaration of independence it plainly states- government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed. This is how they gain jurisdiction over those who wish to be subjected- through consent. Church lawyers continue to dig the comparative church structure deeper and deeper into the worldly abyss of the legal system which will enslave it's members by their continued consent to the legal realm, which is forming "church policy" and has nothing to do with God's law. Study the trial of Christ before He was crucified and you will see parallels with what the Jewish priests thought was law and what Christ knew was law, then compare the legal world(current worldly statutes, codes, and regulations) to God's law (eternal absolute law)and see some very interesting similarities. Like Christ taking to many steps on the sabbath, or working on the sabbath when He was serving others. Today, here in California, I can not have a calling that puts me in contact with "children" if I don't have a background check and have fingerprint work performed because the comparative church has signed themselves up to be a tax exempt organization and will make their members consent into the same legal realm by taking on the legal title of "volunteer" just so they don't lose their tax exempt status. This program for background checks does not extend past the borders of California so if someone bad from another state signs up, their records from a different state cannot be accessed. What about being innocent until proven guilty? Is that not one of the supposed "laws of the land?" CA code AB-506 States that a "a regular volunteer shall..." It does not state that it is required. Legal terms have different definitions that are defined within the statute or code it applies to. The Federal Government has written that they do not want legislatures using the term "shall" because it can mean so many things and leaves rpm for s much litigation an interpretation. Another example of world statutes interfering with God's law are temple marriages. One must get permission from the State before they can enter into eternal matrimony with themselves and their Maker... This is insanity! What does the State have to do with eternal marriage? If you made it this far I implore you to study more on consent and how it is needed in all government applications, statutes, codes... etc. We do not have to consent to what they are doing and they know this, it is the masses that do not. True freedom is not safe, but for some reason, so many will trade their rights and freedoms for the illusion of safety. I apologize for the lengthy reply, but I'm not smart enough to be able to shrink my explanations down in a more quick, concise manner. :)
Really enjoyed this conversation. Well done, you two. Greg, I also agreed with your comments starting at 6:30 regarding the university structure and professor/student relationship that has become the standard in the United States. It's a lot of power, influence and trust being placed in a professor's hands. And sadly at BYU, it sounds like some professors are cherry picking comments from the brethren to support ideas that are contradictory to the core doctrine of the family, among other doctrines. Seeing things like this makes teaching true gospel principles in the home while your kids are young that much more important. Thank you!
@@ruckin3 The church owns the school however. Some of the apostles are on the board and they know about all of this. It is a private university. No one seems to know why they permit these things. Ive read part of the book "Why Gender Matters" by Leonard Sax; he goes into depth of the science/research of the differences between boys and girls/ men and women. There was a study done (which I believe he talks about in his book) where they had put babies/toddlers into a room filled with different boy and girl toys... and guess what toys each gender gravitatide towards? Boys were more about the trucks, trains, airplanes, etc whereas girls were more about the baby dolls. This study gave insight as to how gender is not a social construct.
I’m a frustrated about what is going on at BYU. I have a daughter there and a son going back in January after his mission from the Republic of r the Congo. I have instructed my daughter to steer clear from the wokeness going on at BYU. I pointed these out when I dropped her off at BYU in August as we walked all over campus and I was appalled with what I saw.
Thanks for sharing and standing up for the truth. I am a former teacher and one time PhD candidate. I was essentially forced out of my PhD candidacy and one of my teaching jobs because I spoke out against the myth of "systemic bias," which has been used to subvert true justice and equality in the very name thereof. We need to establish parallel economic structures, including places for education, because the schools and the government entities which run them are so deeply entrenched.
I remember at BYU I had to take a class in the Family Life major where it was sort of a gender studies class or social justice class about the differences of people. That professor said "the family proclamation is not the only way" and I argued with this teacher, I said "it's ok to believe that the family proclamation is the right way" she responded with "we will see what you think about that by the end of the semester" it was a small class maybe 20 students and when this professor was teaching us about male privilege I suggested to her there was also female privilege and she didn't like that idea at all and this professor had a habit of wearing rainbow colored clothing and accessories and this professor taught many things that were in a line with the social critical social justice theories. This reminds me of another critical Justice class I had to take at Weber University for my teaching license where the teacher over and over pointed out that if you disagreed with these critical theories of critical social justice that you were simply uninformed and hadn't thought your position through. She repeatedly shut down students who disagreed with her simply saying that they were uninformed. But to see this at BYU was all the more disgraceful than seeing it at Weber.
When I was a family life major at BYU we were reviewing the literature that showed alot of this stuff was biased and how to use science to defend truth. What is going on. I thought the church appointed mission through the school of family life was to defend the proclamation on the family.
I'm SOOO glad to see this young woman standing up and speaking out. And thank heaven for righteous parents who gave her the foundation to do it!! I DO wish she'd had the courage to stand up and say something in class-- BUT I totally get it and understand why she didn't. I'm sure she'll face backlash for speaking out now. (Stand strong young lady! Thy friends do stand by thee!!) The sad thing, (and I've heard this MANY times from students) is that probably MANY, maybe even half of the students feel the same way she does but they too are too afraid to speak up. But GENERALLY all it takes is 1 student to break through that fear and courageously stand up and speak out, and the others will follow. This happened with my daughter when she was a junior in high school. They were talking about gay marriage and the teacher (who was sincerely trying to encourage open dialogue) asked if any of the students had any objections or concerns about the acceptance of gay marriage and no one said anything. The teacher even tried to encourage them and said something like, "There isn't ANYONE who disagrees, or at least has some concerns?" Nothing. In this case, it wasn't the teacher they were concerned about, it was the criticism and disdain of the other students. My daughter, (the only member of the church in the class) who DID have those concerns but knew that the mass majority of the class supports it, said she kept waiting for someone else to raise their hand. But no one did. She said the spirit was banging in her heart so loudly that she practically COULDN'T keep her hand down, but as she started to raise it, the fear was so stifling that her hand was shaking almost uncontrollably. But, as she started to speak and explain her position, one by one, 7 other students around the room slowly started to raise their hands as well. After class, every single one of those other students all approached her, thanking her and praising her for the courage to do it. And they ALL said the same thing-- that WANTED to raise their hands but they were terrified. They just needed a "leader"-- someone ELSE to be the brave one and be the first, so they'd know ahead of time that they weren't going to be standing alone. And I TOTALLY get that and sympathize. It IS scary!!! I just have this vision in my mind of brave BYU students boldly standing up and speaking out. That time when Joseph Smith stood up in the jail in Richmond Missouri -- "Silence, ye fiends of the infernal pit! In the name of Jesus Christ I rebuke you and command you to be still!" Obviously, they wouldn't need to say it quite like that - LOL!! -- but that kind of boldness is something I'd love to see!!! Those classes are filled with disciples of Jesus Christ, many of them ordained with priesthood power and authority of God!! How I WISH they FELT that in their bones and had the courage and faith to act on it!
I feel the Brethren know. The Brethren have prepared us for this day. Think of recent messages “learn how to Hear Him” “you will not be able to survive without having the Holy Spirit as your guide” know the difference between absolute truth verses relative truth” “let God prevail in your life” “you must have a testimony for yourself” I think they knew the day would come when people would try to blind and deceive. Even after some had partaken of the precious fruit, they could not handle the mocking from the large and spacious building speak. Hopefully, we followed the counsel of our leaders so that we would be able to discern. This is our test. Will we stand with truth? Will we recognize truth or blinded by the world’s message? will we have courage to do like this young woman? I wonder what feeling was in the class. Did it feel dark? I wonder if I would have the courage to rebuke the enemy and power of the destroyer. I wonder if we have arrived at those days. This could be part of the sifting.
@@bradhardisty1652 no it is just an acceptance of gender confusion. When Elder Packer gave a talk (~2010) saying that God understands gender, he got shot down. Every since then, it has been mission creep. But there was a specific talk at BYU circa 2017 coupled with a "summit" with the "LGBTQ+ community" that really got the ball rolling.
She spoke up on a friendly media channel how hard is that? She was silent in class. She went along to get along in class, what example did she provide to her classmates? Once again evil prospers when good people do nothing.
Following the Church leaders through conscious and deliberate faith is labeled "blind obedience," but mindlessly ingesting the sophistry that these professors vomit out is "free thinking." So glad that there are students who aren't falling for it. I wish they would stand up (literally) in the classes and speak out against it, but I don't blame them for not doing so. I reacted the same way to propaganda I was fed at BYU. The fear of public ridicule is very strong, even in a classroom of only 20 students. I can't imagine 200.
Thanks for posting this! This is a veritable call to action for our church leaders and governing members of BYU. This professor teaching a course in the School of Family life is audaciously teaching/preaching/manipulating her students with false doctrine! It cannot be more clear. I plead to those who have authority for and on behalf of BYU, ROOT THIS PROFESSOR OUT!!
Get rid of the liberal arts. I got my undergrad in History and my masters in biology and robotics (needed prereqs first), both from the university of MN. I heard NO political or woke bull crap in my masters program, but my undergraduate was full of it.
I had a BYU-I psychology professor that taught the same thing. Students started talking about how they were non-binary and that they lived with a transgender girl in non-school housing. The professor was supportive of these comments. I asked her some inspired questions regarding the topic, but she blew them off. I am appalled that the church’s school would allow professors to teach the theories of men as if they were gospel truth.
In the 80s I was in grad school in this field ( Fam Sci), not at BYU, but I had 2 degrees from BYU. And was surprised at things like this. I remember an article called "Childhood as a Social Construct." One thing that bothered me (that I didn’t recognize at the time as anti-human like today), was the idea that parents felt differently about their children, they weren't as close to them, because they knew they could die anytime. Child mortality and children working in adult roles, like farm and factories, made parents less attached . I countered it with qualitative research like mother's journals, etc.
Wow she is awesome! We need more like her!!!! Thanks for having her on. The fact this is happening at BYU causes me to grieve and also so thankful that my teens want nothing to do with that place anymore and are choosing trade schools.
I can remember when CWIC tried to be neutral and understand both sides. No longer. Just like with everyone you’ll have to choose eventually ! Keep up the great work Greg!
Greg, I think you may find the Bruce and Brian Reimer documentary quite fascinating. It's about twin boys who had a circumcision and one boys was botched. A psychologist talked them into raising one twin as a girl because he believed that gender was a social construct. The experiment was devastating. I can't believe these "experts" never address this story.
It’s great to see a young woman of valor. I have a niece who is really being tried and tested right now. I can tell that she wants to sympathize and side with certain groups of people about diversity, etc. but she has been taught traditional values and morality. speaking as a person who has already been down a lot of the rabbit holes and dead ends and roads that lead nowhere I can tell you that there is a whole generation of young adults who are absolutely the number one prime target of these alternative narrative promoters. Their target is the family and they are trying to destroy it. I am 100% dead set against this idea. They are trying to destroy everything that is good and holy. Anything that would give us strength and support us in the times that we are living in. well done to this young woman for standing for something. We need more young people like her out in the world, using their best judgment and making the decision to choose the right. There is no person alive on earth that can convince me that the narrative of what is being promoted is righteous or necessary or good for humanity. It is not. we have so many young people now who are lost and confused and that’s why as parents and as mature adults, we must give them our counsel and listen to them when they need to talk.
My son was taking SOC 112: Current Social Problems this semester and had to drop the class. Instead of this being an educational experience it turned into a class where as a student he felt unwelcome and targeted by the Professor and the Teaching Assistants because he did speak up. He had to agree with them, there was no discussion and learning that should be taking place in an educational setting.
This is how it works with some (not all) of these Identitarian professors. To the point that some will give a "0" on an assignment if it doesn't go along with the professor's social justice agenda.
The interesting thing about this genderless movement is it seems to wrap the more palatable objective of feminism, or equality for women, into a radically nonsensical effort to erase the very thing they want to give more value to. By erasing gender, they are making a mad push to obliterate the polarity of masculinity and femininity as necessary qualities for humanity to flourish. This is another great example of Lehi's philosophical gem, "There must needs be opposition in all things", if this is not the case, we are approaching an existential crisis. Opposition does not merely act as a "Foil" in the story, it is an absolute necessity in providing a mirror that keeps us from becoming extreme, it constantly pulls us back to the moderate middle ground where truth is found.
@@CwicShow Greg, I also think that the solution to the problem, although it feels like a war, and noble to fight, is actually going to be found in listening to each other and being willing to see where both sides has gone wrong, become extreme in their own right. It's quite simple to see the folly of the genderless argument. It is much more challenging to see our own extremities and be willing to admit where we have contributed to the problem. I'm not excusing the radical left agenda, I'm saying it has roots and some of those roots are, in fact, the pressure that has built from the radical right.
To your comment on listening, better, I agree. To your implication of "immoral equivalence' of left and right, I disagree. You sound like my progressive kids, when I point out obvious fascism of ideas and practices of rhe left: "Yeah, but Trump..." or "Jan 6..." The right has "bent over" for decades, as the left has pushed the Overton window towards their utopian socialism and deconstructionist/revisionist nonsense, nay, evil. The right has made many mistakes, and the (very few) extremist right groups the left points to, are usually leftists themselves - skinheads, etc. Listening may be necessary, but there is no negotiation with evil. Admittedly, leftist people are not necessarily evil, but their deluded ideas are. And it's hard to negotiate, even listen to, "useful idiots."
@@tsmithson1 I would answer a little differently. The roots are all in radical leftism, but they have been allowed to mastitize because of a lack of charity. Perhpas mostly from the right. When I say charity, I mean attention, love, and encouragement. Identitarianism can flourish partially because it is filling a void of confusion and loneliness.
@@CwicShow Okay, I like that. A lot of evil and sin happens as we humans seek for love in all the wrong places. Much sin is perpetuated in the absence of feeling Grace.
I'm so impressed with this young woman! I hope her example encourages other students to also speak out. I would note that not only does gender ideology contradict the gospel; it also contradicts established science. It is not based on good data and evidence.
@@ruckin3 Jude 1:4 “For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.” It is an old message being brought in by those of old who condoned it from the beginning. We are told that in the last times these things would come onto the saints first and then expand into the world as a whole. Right now it is a neck-and-neck race. In the Testament of Joseph is a single verse about God knowing everything that is going on but allowing these things to happen to test our inclinations. It is a divine process. The righteous will be blessed by being repentant, humble, and patient. Enduring to the end. Kind of adds a little more understanding about enduring to the end. A process, scribed over eternity, of proving and sorting spiritual means. The verse is as follows: "But in all those things doth He give protection, And in divers ways doth He comfort, (Though) for a little space He departeth to try the inclination of the soul."
This young lady needs to be praised for standing up to the faith and truths which she has been taught by her parents, and the professors there at BYU teaching the garbage need to be terminated and dealt with in a manner that they can't ever teach again. BYU is becoming more WOKE like Deseret book, and that is wrong. We will probably see more things like this coming to light as we get closer to Christ's second coming. There are tribulations coming and we all need to be prepared to stand strong in our faith and testimonies. God bless and help us in the coming days.

Excellent content and follow up plus wow your guest is so spot on. Kudos to her parents. Greg, you need to announce these so called professors. My history professor was D Michael Quinn who went off the rails. Who hires these people. This is not what BYU is for. The Piltdown Man Hoax is alive and well even at BYU. It’s unacceptable to have these professors jerking our youth around. Post their names and let’s get in the face of BYU hiring best practice or non practice as yes this is unacceptable
BYU provo has almost double the student body of BYU-I. That BYU-I is better doctrinally is of little consulation when considering what a lot of future leaders of wards and stakes are being taught at BYU Provo, and Hawaii.
@@nostoppingit7827 that’s because BYUI is a relatively new institution. Not counting Ricks College All this crap only happens at BYU provo and, it doesn’t happen at BYUI nor BYU Hawaii combined and you know that
Good episode!! Already, it is happening over the pulpits too. Praying to heavenly Mother and Father. In our classes, teachers are afraid to teach doctrine because of woke communities or contraries to the world's views. Who would have thought that the church could be spiritually gagged? I greatly appreciate her last remarks. It begs me to ask, are there certain things that have to be taught in order for the school to be accredited and receive funding from the government, either in part or full depending on the classes offered? Perhaps it has to follow certain rules to qualify for receiving FASTFA funds or Grants? My guess is that the church is not fully funded by tithes and offerings. Just my opinion. If that could be the case, perhaps they are being held ransom to obligation due to funding. Hmmm.
@PapaKryptoss I meant in the sense that she would get a hard time from her woke professors and teachers for openly talking about this. I didn't not mean that the church would go after her. I want to make that point very clear.
@ruckin3 BYU and the church couldn't be more separate. Unfortunately if you make a BYU joke to the wrong person they will try to refer you to a disciplinary High council meeting 😆
God bless this young woman and her parents! She was so well spoken and knowledgeable. I hope I am doing as well as they have, in teaching my children these eternal truths. Wouldn’t it be nice if the Proclamation of the Family was studied more regularly and in-depth as part of our Come Follow Me curriculum? As well as the other proclamations? They are recent scripture for our day that we all need to know.
How much longer do we have to put up with professors like this at BYU? Would love to hear just once some professor was let go …. Raising children now days is so scary I worry so much for them.
BYU profs are being fired left and right. One in Business, one in the Maxwell Institute, a few at BYU-I. BYU profs are generally conservative in their approach to the Gospel, and this channel us making it REALLY hard for us to be scholars nowadays. Ths channel is fueling the myth among LDS that the entire academy is a massive secular cesspool of closeted ark steadiers.
To me, the differences between men and women should be glorified, not minimized. Trying to neutralize “gender” is foolishness, and that’s being very, very kind.
@@CwicShow What a pathetic mindset! I learned a very long time ago to distrust the popular philosophies. Free love, for example, in the 1960s. What a bag of BS. Look what has become of us as a result. History is filled with nonsense. I’m sticking with the idea that girls are girls and guys are guys, and whoever argues with me bears the burden of proof. I’ll be laughing - and crying - in my grave when the time of reckoning finally arrives, but arrive it almost certainly will. If it does not, humanity will come to its natural biological end and the world will be so much better for the passing. Thankfully the animal kingdom does not seem so confused by itself. That tree in Eden surely yielded the most subtle of poisons.
Why is this continuing to happen at BYU? Where are the leaders of this university and why aren’t they stepping in and ridding these “teachers” of their positions? Where are the alumni who are donating to the school? Stand up and say “No more money until the institution is cleaned out,” just like Jesus cleansed the temple.
@@CwicShow I encourage you to. It's one of my favorite quotes, especially in light of our increasingly steep cultural decline. Here's the quote with more context: "I have always been fascinated with the subject of androgyny. I explored it in history. The more I explored it, the more I realized that historically, the movement toward androgyny occurs in late phases of culture, as a civilization is starting to unravel. You can find it again and again in Greek art and all of the sudden see it happening. All of the sudden the sculptures of handsome nude young men athletes that used to be very robust in the archaic period suddenly begin to seem like wet noodles." "The people who live in such periods, in late phases of culture, whether it's the Hellenistic era, whether it's the Roman empire, whether it's the Mauve Decade of Oscar Wilde in the 1890s, whether it's the Weimar Germany." "People who live in such times feel that they're very sophisticated, they’re very cosmopolitan. [Fey voice] Homosexuality, heterosexuality, so what, anything goes, and so on. But from the perspective of historical distance, you can see that it’s a culture that no loner believes in itself." "And then what you invariably get, are people who are convinced of the power of heroic masculinity, on the edges. Whether they are the Vandals and the Huns, or whether they’re the barbarians of ISIS, you see them starting to amass on the outside of culture, and that’s what we have right now." "There is a tremendous - and rather terrifying - disconnect between the infatuation with the transgender movement in our own culture, and what's going on out there." --Camille Paglia
@@firecloud77 that is, at least in part, because androgyny comes from luciferianism, which proliferates through secret combinations--and we know that secret combinations are often the cause of late-stage civilization.

They're, "supposed to" uphold the Church standards there.
perhaps a decline in funding is in order... He giveth and He taketh away...
Thank you!

Thank you young lady for your bravery and courage for standing up for all of us that know God created a Man and a Woman! Fight for what is right!
Good job Greg, and to your new friend that spoke up also. Real courage is admirable.
I remember at BYU I had to take a class in the Family Life major where it was sort of a gender studies class or social justice class about the differences of people.
That professor said "the family proclamation is not the only way" and I argued with this teacher, I said "it's ok to believe that the family proclamation is the right way" she responded with "we will see what you think about that by the end of the semester"
it was a small class maybe 20 students and when this professor was teaching us about male privilege I suggested to her there was also female privilege and she didn't like that idea at all and this professor had a habit of wearing rainbow colored clothing and accessories and this professor taught many things that were in a line with the social critical social justice theories.
The BYU class I refer to was around 2018
When I was a family life major at BYU we were reviewing the literature that showed alot of this stuff was biased and how to use science to defend truth. What is going on. I thought the church appointed mission through the school of family life was to defend the proclamation on the family.
I'm SOOO glad to see this young woman standing up and speaking out. And thank heaven for righteous parents who gave her the foundation to do it!! I DO wish she'd had the courage to stand up and say something in class-- BUT I totally get it and understand why she didn't. I'm sure she'll face backlash for speaking out now. (Stand strong young lady! Thy friends do stand by thee!!)
The sad thing, (and I've heard this MANY times from students) is that probably MANY, maybe even half of the students feel the same way she does but they too are too afraid to speak up.
I no longer donate to BYU! I donate to Hillsdale College.
Or Donate to PragerU. Awsome!!!
LOVE HILLSDALE!
I hope the Brethren are listening.

They know. They have actually fostered these attitudes. Watch the talks. I think it was e. raspberry who gave the inaugural "acceptance" talk.
@@rolandsmith4394 whose fostered what? The Brethren have fostered androgynous Jesus?. That doesn't make any sense.
Such a brave young woman. Thank you for speaking up!
She spoke up on a friendly media channel how hard is that? She was silent in class. She went along to get along in class, what example did she provide to her classmates? Once again evil prospers when good people do nothing.
Good for this student 👏🏼 so proud of her for standing up and speaking out against this bs
It shouldn't be allowed. I hope this instructor is forced to leave BYU.
Why is BYU allowing this to be taught? Why?
I g uarantee this has been done for years at BYU. Not only in the School of Family Sciences, but in the McKay School of Education. So sad.
Yes it has.
Wow she got pictures of the slides. Very wise young woman. Thank you for standing up to this nonsense. This Professor should be fired asap.
Surely Church leadership must be aware of this. Why won't they stop it?
I can remember when CWIC tried to be neutral and understand both sides.
No longer. Just like with everyone you’ll have to choose eventually !
Keep up the great work Greg!
Another huge concern of mine.....why is there only one girl speaking out of there are over 200 kids in this class????
They are afraid of having their grades lowered.
Bless her and bless her parents!
as faculty, these rogue teachers sicken me
Nice to see a parents counseling in action on how to properly use a smart phone, and to learn to discern between truth & lies…🙏🏼💯🤙🏽
Thank you Greg🤙🏽
Oh that more of our youth were as wise as this young lady.
Yes
One of HF's best and brightest...thank you for being brave
Kudos to this young student! Very articulate, very smart. Re the teacher, why is she teaching at BYU?
I'm so impressed with this young woman! I hope her example encourages other students to also speak out. I would note that not only does gender ideology contradict the gospel; it also contradicts established science. It is not based on good data and evidence.
What will it take to purge the university of these woke professors?
The professors are only the fruit off a larger systemic problem.
The verse is as follows:
"But in all those things doth He give protection, And in divers ways doth He comfort, (Though) for a little space He departeth to try the inclination of the soul."
Great interview, you are both wonderful latter-day warriors! I have a son who thinks there "aren't any good women out there." I am going to share this video with him.
There are a few of them, but most of the women are just bought into the feminist gender ideology they’re getting harder and harder to find.
A study of the family proclamation would be a great place to start.
I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!! God bless you my friend.
One of the main reasons not to go to BYU but BYU Idaho, it’s crazy how different these two schools are from each other.

Congratulations to this brave young woman for having the courage to speak the truth.
More young and old people like this are needed.
Hmmm.
I really hope BYU doesn't go after her. I fear they will though.
Why would you believe BYU could go after her? That would be bullying now wouldn't it?
We have measures in place. We’ve been through this before.
@PapaKryptoss I meant in the sense that she would get a hard time from her woke professors and teachers for openly talking about this. I didn't not mean that the church would go after her. I want to make that point very clear.
@@jstormy94 yes, shadow black listed amongst the activist faculty, they do conspire that way.
Was the professor's name ever mentioned? I'm a BYU student and I'm registered for this course next semester. Wondering if I should drop

Has the church censured this or anything? If they haven’t do their actions or lack thereof speak louder than words? Thoughts?
none of this should surprise us... It's going to be the worst where the headquarters of the church is. We all know that.
How much longer do we have to put up with professors like this at BYU? Would love to hear just once some professor was let go …. Raising children now days is so scary I worry so much for them.
BYU profs are being fired left and right. One in Business, one in the Maxwell Institute, a few at BYU-I. To me, the differences between men and women should be glorified, not minimized. Trying to neutralize “gender” is foolishness, and that’s being very, very kind.
Unfortunately, your thoughts on this are becoming the minority very quickly.
I'm using this.
@@CwicShow
I encourage you to. It's one of my favorite quotes, especially in light of our increasingly steep cultural decline. Here's the quote with more context:
"I have always been fascinated with the subject of androgyny. I explored it in history. The more I explored it, the more I realized that historically, the movement toward androgyny occurs in late phases of culture, as a civilization is starting to unravel. You can find it again and again in Greek art and all of the sudden see it happening. All of the sudden the sculptures of handsome nude young men athletes that used to be very robust in the archaic period suddenly begin to seem like wet noodles."
"The people who live in such periods, in late phases of culture, whether it's the Hellenistic era, whether it's the Roman empire, whether it's the Mauve Decade of Oscar Wilde in the 1890s, whether it's the Weimar Germany."
"People who live in such times feel that they're very sophisticated, they’re very cosmopolitan. [Fey voice] Homosexuality, heterosexuality, so what, anything goes, and so on. But from the perspective of historical distance, you can see that it’s a culture that no loner believes in itself."
"And then what you invariably get, are people who are convinced of the power of heroic masculinity, on the edges. Whether they are the Vandals and the Huns, or whether they’re the barbarians of ISIS, you see them starting to amass on the outside of culture, and that’s what we have right now."
"There is a tremendous - and rather terrifying - disconnect between the infatuation with the transgender movement in our own culture, and what's going on out there." --Camille Paglia
@@firecloud77 that is, at least in part, because androgyny comes from luciferianism, which proliferates through secret combinations--and we know that secret combinations are often the cause of late-stage civilization.
