Travelled around the World and met several Fans of various English Football Clubs. They all, without exception had the dream of travelling to the UK to watch a home game at Anfield, Old Trafford and may other Grounds, and one who dreamt of going to as many Grounds as he could watching his Team play. They all wanted their once in their lifetime "pilgrimage".

Like you said benty thats why we have preseason tours so foreign fans can see the team in there own country stop trying push the game away from loyal fans

Wouldn’t want this to happen but Community/Charity shield is the only game I could realistically be okay with being played abroad. It’s a season opener, it’s a competitive game but not a league game and it’s played at a neutral ground. It’s the most suitable game to host abroad. The FA will most likely rebrand it as ‘The FA Super Shield/Cup’, maybe change the format like Spain, having two semi-finals and a final between the winner and runners up of the league and cup or the previous seasons Prem top 4 and market it all over USA.

As an American, my personal opinion is I would rather not see PL matches played in the USA. Community Shield, fine, because it's an exhibition match. But league games a largely made special by the environment created in the grounds, and you can feel it even on TV.
However, the notion that there are no proper fans in America is just absurd. We have to wake up at 5 in the morning to watch matches on the weekends and will travel across the country to see our teams play once in a preseason game. So the idea that people in the US don't understand the game and love it is patently false.
