kupilem w sklepie dg-103 i go pomierzylem. na zakresach powyzej 4MHz zawyżał -zamiast 100w wyswietlał 112w i tak do 30 mhz. Zerwalem plombe i otworzyłem.

Keep us updated.. I've just bought one of these and have serious discrepancies too, even after understanding the variables, thanks

These meters are dismal & I returned mine for a full refund after just 5 or 6 hours of use.

I just bought the same KPO Metre, works great in Fm, but on Ssb it give really bad swr & Ref, sometimes 00.00/99.99 or -- - --, and as you say for £169 (I paid), I chose this 1 over the Nissei DG-103 for a similar price.

Better with a meter that reads pep John! Or get a bird wattmeter with a kilowatt slug, you can pick 1 up that’s had the pep conversion..73 Chris Gm4zji

It gets worse than that. Where you show a 1:1 swr and no reflected power on the amp and that appears to be the same on the meter. My meter (Nissei Version)always shows no refelected power and pefect swr even when presented with a mismatch. I received mine today, its going back tomorrow. It is sad because like you, I really like these meters I've also had the DG503 200 watt version for a couple of years and its been great.

Hi,I share your sentiments, I was disappointed to say the least,,,because they show important information, that's easy to read, I find the cross hair swr-meter difficult to read if I am further away, thanks from Rotterdam 👍🏻

uhm... what about the model : NISSEI DG-503 1.6-525Mhz Digital SWR/WATT Meter ??? i am expecting one in the mail soon.. is this gonna be crappy to ???..now i am worried

Hi,yes I have had also that model,,,,Great for fm ,but on SSB there's no peak option, so it gives a false reading, I found, but maybe you will have a different experience, thanks for your comments, 73 from Rotterdam 👍.

To measure ssb you need a meter that measures true p.e.p and these meters won't do p.e.p readings. Also they don't appear to be that accurate on average power readings either.

You need a peak PEP SWR/METER that when its in PEP mode WILL NOT work unless it has DC power to power the PEP curcuit, if the meter works on PEP without power then the meter uses a capacitor for its PEP calculations and is a waste of MONEY ...

Look like hot Chinese garbage to me. An average power FM meter should be calibrated +/- 1W at worse. These things look about 10W out most of the time. Very poor.

Those Meters are crap. I had the 200W DG-503 Version, the 1ß3 isn't any better.
