These two are just the tip of an iceberg. Cities and counties everywhere have been sloppy over the past decades hiring inappropriately intellectually equipped, and unprofessional officers. Lack of proper supervision and promotion from within have allowed these dullard officers to migrate into administration roles where they foster an environment where mediocrity thrives as it did in this and other departments recently in the news. Sooner or later, taxpayers will be on the hook for damage awards in the millions unless departments and counties everywhere take this bull by the horns and fix their shit.
