MEXICO: ISLA MUJERES MANCHONES REEF DIVE CANCUN

Manchones Reef is one of the best dive sites in Isla Mujeres, with over 800 meters of reef containing elk horn, stag horn and brain coral. Manchones also contains two famous sculptures from the Underwater Museum of Art (MUSA) - the “The Man on Fire” and “The Ernest Hemingway Desk”.No not a man standing behind the bar with his trustworthy dog 😂
The vibrant colors of the reef and abundant schools of blue tangs, wrasse, grunts, and snappers enchant even the most experienced divers. The sandy bottom and hole formations on the reef provide excellent habitat for stingrays, nurse sharks, king crabs and lobsters. The large parrot, queen angel fish, and spotted trunkfish also make it a spectacular dive for photographers and divers of all levels.
