Yep, only when we lost the precious ones did we realize what we should do back then... And in real life, there is no reload button we could click to make things come back. I love this game and although I don't play the full game now, but I still play it coz the music and experience remind me of my life with her in the past. Thanks for your comments.

man this music reminds my of all the times in the past i was moving modern armour throught my railroad networking and conquering. this game makes me feel like a conqueror and it makes me happy every time i conquer another city or civilization, this game is unsually addicting and can rob me of many hours a day
LOL! Happened to me last night...started playing from 8pm and kept telling myself that I would stop after my 1 hour limit. Before I knew it, it was 2 am in the morning and I had to get up for work in 5 hours! Very addictive indeed!! XD
I've played Civilization I, II and III, and the 3rd part with the PTW expansion was the best of all. I've also listened to the game's theme musics on my CD player too. They are really great for the game. Greco Roman did a great work with it, I salute him for this.

i remembered this game was so hardcore and i loved this peice escpecially among them all. its been like 7-8 years since i first played this game and then my causin showed me civilization revolutions and nostalgia hit me and when i played this game it was so short i was amazed that i actually won by using a domination victory on warlord! warlord! wouldnt have ever happened on this game. this game was epic.
I was like that with my friends whom died in a car accident.....I was ALWAYS ignoring them when I was playing this addicting game. I wish I could turn back time :(

by far best civ. ive played endless days of this game its that addicting its pathetic i would just play this nonstop. i didnt get into the new ones, just not the same. this game could be endless in mods and game modes. they could have done civil war mod, ww2 mod in europe ect ect. i loved it it was so good i think they couldnt do much to better it it was just that good. the music the advisors everything rocked. however the population on the game wasnt acurate i wanted cities with millions each
3 is still my favorite because the map/scenario editor was just SO expansive. 4 is okay. 5 has pretty bad balance issues. The AI clearly cheats, and if they cant beat you through sheer force will do it by playing 'gang up on the player' with their spies or at the World Conference, whether you're friends with them or not.

best civ ever. it takes a week or so to finish it =) and you can't stop playing... only one round and i will finish^^. 2 hours later: thats the last round i promies xD and so it goes on =)
Sadly, Civilisation IV's only outstanding track was Baba Yetu, whereas Civilisation III had two - Stars and Smash. I used to play the game for hours just to hear the track... just like how I spent half an hour listening to Baba Yetu the first time Civilisation IV started up before actually playing. A pity Civ 4's other music wasn't as enrapturing. Here's hoping Civilisation V will have music equally as great. We can already tell that its graphics are, but it won't survive without good tunes...
@cromerzone What, who would give you flak for that?? This is great stuff. For the record, I love the music from both Civ 4 and 3, but it feels like you guys actually got a little more creative for Civ 3, meaning Civ 3 includes more music that was actually written specifically for the game whereas Civ 4 comes bundled with a lot of existing pieces by classical composers (if I recall correctly anyway). As I said, I like both soundtracks but I'm never one to say no to new stuff if it sounds good.
Oh so soothing as I unload my horde of tactical nukes on my last remaining rival and submerge the charred remains of their once populous lands with orange toxic waste.

Just over fifteen now. Going on to sixteen in a few more months. Lots of great memories playing this game. Time sure does fly by.
