Hey thank u for this.. Can you help with payroll. Like the ones when the vendor is involved. Calculations after receiving the output file from the vendor after sending input file
Hi Sujit, Different companies use different methods to normalise the ratings. Statistically it can be done using the formula z=(x-mu)/sigma. What I have observed is, when managers finish their ratings, the standard normal curve is mapped onto the managers curve, then all the outliers are revisited on a case by case basis and adjusted to the standard normal curve.
Can you also make a video of Bell Curve when the organization has over achieved the target and also when it has failed to achieve the target? Pls do if you can, it will be of great help
Hello Rashmi, if the target has been over achieved, the curve will shift to the right, that is more people will get above average rating. If the organisation has underperformed, the curve would shift left. I have mentioned about this in the video, where I talked about skewed curve. Hope this helpful. Have a nice day!
Thank you mam. It helped me

awesome work, what type of pencil is been used in the video ?
Hi Abhishek, it’s a charcoal pencil, soft variant
it is relative based on the performance of company and others. Then why the wwll performing person should suffer due to others non-performance
This video was useful however, can you educate us about 360 degree rating system
Sure! Will add a video on that as well.
@@ChatterMatar Appreciated...This will add value to my ongoing HRM course. Now and Later as well. Thank you
