Selling all swords and armor from skellige underwater spots netted me like… easily about 100k crowns or maybe even a little more!

Yeah, all those hidden treasures and smuggler caches gives you so much loot that sells well. Tedious as hell to get them all, though. Probably has been my least favorite part of the game.
Just killing all the random bandits you run into gets all the loot you need. Then in toussaint you get more Monet for everything you do. No need to bore yourself to tears going through all those question marks.

Cleared all point of interest in skellige novigrad and velen and still went broke before even upgrading even armor fully yo grandmaster 😅😅😅
Its quite simple. Collect as much weapons and armors and hides as possible until you reach your carry limit. Then go sell to merchants and smiths. Then repeat
I have over 350,000. Started NG+ at over 100k. Two grandmaster sets and manticore. Fully upgraded Corvo Bianco. There’s literally nothing to buy with this money. On NG+, don’t worry about money. Just collect swords as loot (sometimes, don’t stress it), sell everything.
You can sell to the smith and the armourer at the Tourney Grounds too. They're right next to each other.
PSA:
Limit your FPS to match your monitor's native refresh rate. That helped a lot of people with frame issues since 4.01
@heazilla No, but it's an 8 year old game that has been optimized for next gen. So while they fix these issues, we can either find ways to optimize things on our end OR not care about the performance issues that were introduced via 4.01.

3:10 You can still do the glitch on the latest patch on last gen then sync your save on gog to have all the swords to sell on current gen. I recommend doing this way instead of selling them on last gen because the lag is unreal when you open your inventory with all the swords.
I always found that even on a brand new game that by the time you get one set of witcher swords just running around and selling everything that wasnt better than my gear and worth carrying got me through just fine. Only time I ran out of cash was just upgrading and crafting with no goal behind it
Yes, the 4.01 patch was super graphically glitchy for me. I had to turn my graphic settings down a notch to get it to play smooth again.
They said a RT function wasn't working on high setting and this last patch fixed it, so if it was on high before it wasn't on, but if its on high now it's on and drops frames because its actually doing something.. this was in the notes and not sure if it applies to you? I know I drop settings and then re apply them and it seems to fix issues, I also need to reload a save to get things to stop stuttering.. buggy game, but great!
@@Ryan-re1rs yeah I had it turned down to medium before the patch and noticed it back up on high. I didn’t even notice that ray tracing was turned on again. Good sleuthing. Either way, I have it back on medium now and it is stable again.

You missed the vendors at the beauclair fair grounds - weaponsmith and armorer.
Sell the cowhide to Oliver in kingfisher as he has 1.2k so u might be able to sell more in bulk
paciflora is better than kingfisher because the madame always has more than 2k crown

I farm weapons to sell but late game, faster way to get money but the more u sell to blacksmiths their inventory gets overburdened and starts to lag more and more every time when u are selling weapons or armors to armorers.
This is my first playthrough and I'm feeling the NEWB especially because I'm a casual
If you fast travel to a new zone and back, the vendors restock btw.

Thanks for these tips. I am on my first playthrough, finished the main quest and about to go to Toussaint to unlock Blood and Wine mutations. I was not planning on farming at all, have not killed a single cow. Clicked on your video as it was suggested by the algorithm. I need to raise 15k to meet the Runewright’s third investment request. Just finished upgrading the Witcher Gear to the Mastercrafted level which left me broke. Although I am not keen on killing cows, your video left me contemplating to try it (once). Was wondering if the Chort shows up at the end of that gig.
I prefer the second farming method, but it is in Toussaint. Cheers! 👹

Another easy way to farm is to farm pigs. Just kill them meditate for 3 hours then do it again. Easy. Can also be found at the first village. Right at the back of the house after the inn.
For new game plus, I haven't had an issue. The weapons all level along with their price so getting everything is fine. However, it's a slog getting all the gear in a normal playthrough
Tip: Know who to sell/buy/dismantle from
And junk is best sold to inkeeps not shopkeepers! Especially hides
Is there a way to clear the vendor inventory cache so they don't retain all the trash you are selling to them?
In game is very convenient to get rich! But in lore they poor ! Or not rich I just farm the Hansa base and sell all
It the farming spot if you wanna avoid getting hit by archers you can always camp the door to the portal it helped me at level 26 facing lol 40 bandits I'm running a sign build for the first time and I hit level 30 in maybe an hour then you have a pile of copies to loot
what I do for a playthrough is wait spam the ruby ring monster nest in white orchard to get off the ground, cow farm when I get into velen for cows milk to heal with and gold to get to skellege and get those place of powers plus a troll and ekhidna mutagen for the decoctions so I won't have to worry about healing anymore, then rush the poet in trouble quest to unlock blood and wine and by that point I can 100% burn so farming the hanse is possible even super low level.

I'm puzzled that you're having trouble with the ray tracing features with an NVIDIA 308. I have a 3070 and it's not even the TI and it seems to be working great.
Had to use the hanse base exploit trying to get all the GM gear. Managed to use glyphwords/runesglyphs on all armor and swords too. Can farm 25 k in like 20 mins (including the time to sell)
I did the same thing. However, if you complete the secondary quest, the knughts take it back over, and no more farming there.
I'm getting shitloads of flickering too on mine since the last update. And sometimes a really poor framerate. I'm on PC as well. Love your vids incidentally.
You probably already know this, but if you turn your graphic settings down a notch, it will likely help (I had the same issue after 4.01).
I am level 17 and 40000 rich, just grind the best cows but the first nest in skellige pretty good to farm many times like 50 take the time endless cash for a bit,
I have not been to skellige as well so holding off cause it is terrible grind
In the blod and Wine farm you can just go thru the portal in the basment, come back and they Will be there already

I basically became rich on vanilla Witcher 3 (with the next gen update) by doing all the treasure and smuggler chests in Skellige. Tedious as hell, but man, does it give you so much loot that sells well.

New sub here but I'm a pre ordered wither 3 fan. Just started a new save since a year anyway, I'm on Ps5 and was wondering if Cdpr still giving the free upgrade to Ps5? I looked online and everything is saw I tried. I realize this is an old post but thought I would try.
When I first started playing Witcher 3, I had no idea that it included a Cattle Genocide simulation mode. And playing that mode would be necessary, To unlock a workshop for the runes-wright. So he could *MILDLY* Improve/upgrade my weapons.
Don't forget the Castle Genocide.

I went to novigrad….merchants weren’t there. It doesn’t even show any merchants on the map. Only thing the map shows in the entire city is notice boards.

Wish I could play it on PC because the money required in order to achieve Grandmaster Armors + Runes is way more expensive than it should be

Looks up the Bee hive glitch in white orchard it’s easy but not really that convenient. However the new update could get to work on the Healer not anyone else takes about 40 min to set up. Don’t do till after clearing white orchard. Also could not get it into the Inn heard it works on her and the guy you save in the beginning. Never tried to get it to the guy selling way far on other side of map to long to try.

I'm on my second play though (NG+) and have just under 2 million crowns. Once you reach Toussaint money stops being an issue.

@@samqzer305 I cleared almost everything on the first playthrough. Then I hustled my way up to level 62 before starting NG+. Spent a lot of time farming Mont Crane Castle on the first playthrough just to level up, and getting rich was a happy side effect. Selling the stuff I picked up there probably got me 7 to 8 hundred thousand crowns. There's a lot of treasure in the sea around Skellige too but best left until you reached Toussaint so you can sell it for a better price. I wouldn't waste time killing cows when an old sword can be worth more if you sell it in Toussaint.

There's actually a way to get filthy rich in the game, especially if you're on console, thanks to cross-progression. You only need to have access to a PC or know someone who does. Simply give them your CD Projekt account details, and they can download a mod for you that allows you to have almost infinite money. I'm playing on console, and now I have 9 million in the game.
Get blood and wine dlc clear all the hanze camp bandits except the leader fast travel to sell to grandmaster or tourney guys return kill everyone again minus the leader rinse and repeat. Don't kill the leader you can always return to slaughter everyone helpful for ng+ and reg game if you don't care bout the knight for hire side quest. Or save the knight for hire till the very end until you enchant an aerondight which will carry you half way through ng+ and like 200k in coins then you can do the quest get the diagrams for the best steel sword enchant it too and you're set.
Let the guy light the fire or light it yourself.
More enemies = more loot = more money
Top notch swords vouch
its easy. mont crane sword farm. 2 runs. max out. horseride back or go 1 under max and then go sell. rinse repeat. ive bankrupted every toussaint blacksmith this way

Farm pearls in Skellige, that's how i earm my coin in Witcher 3 its fast and profitable.
The second option is so good. The one with the cows gets boring.

Now im level 81 and I havnt even done the Uma mission yet
Nowhere near close to finishing the base story and I already went to blood and wine and made a dope ass pad and already went to heart and stone and unlocked the enchantments
So ima finish the base game with my own vineyard and the best swords and all the mutations and enchantments

@@Ferdoofu kinda do it’s just the armor is much better in terms of armor rating which is why before I do new game plus I save a bunch of crowns and then use them to craft better armor it’s a hassle but better than doing it when everything is higher level Again right now I’m sitting with 118k crowns and I’m not even done with dlc and looting all the other places once again it’s annoying but worth it in the end

Just collect everything, later in the game you will have a ton of runes that you dont use and valuable ingredients to sell, along with every weapon and armour you dont use ofc.

Damn that runewright, too expensive to unlock. Currently on my first playthrough, cat school gear is a starting build but what I wanted is the ursine gear but unusable until lvl 30, a shame really.
the game is easy even on deathmarch. money is no issue in the game. especially when u reach skellige and clear the map. clearing white orchad and velen is a good start. then clear half of novigrad area but steer clear from hearts of stone dlc area cause the monsters there will obliterate u in mere seconds. after clearing skellige. go back to novigrad and clear the rest of point of interests from hearts of stone area. last, clear toussaint. by the end of the game u have everything and anything u need for new game plus. no stress needed. this game is a chill game. skellige and toussaint are beautiful.

Mods only work on pc games.
@@phripp2868 any more not so fast dude consoles are far more capable than people give them credit for there are some mods for certain games that will work for that you just got to be careful and find out which ones will versus which ones won't

Only in White Orchard. In Novigrad area no cow boss will come. You can kill them till your heart content. In White Orchard instead, you can kill the pig and meditate. Sell it to the inkeep lady (if she's still available) because she pays the highest price. Emptied out all her coin and you only need to meditate one day to make her money to comeback (if she still have even one coin you need to meditate five days). But this is old gen, not sure for next gen. There's one area in Novigrad farm full of cows, with right merchant they can sell for 42 coin each pelt.

FYI dont use console to get level in witcher 3 because if you did that you will get less stat equipment in your nect new game + i already test that i have 2 save file one without console and another one i am using console for get crown and level suprissingly the one without console have more stat in equpment at when i start new game plus (in this case both already lvl 100 when start new game plus) for example the witcher gear grandmaster cest armor without console have 740 stat other save file only 500 stat at level 100

First upgrade your armour to Grandmaster ( i am using URSINE )
upgrade to the maxx Corvo Bianco Vineyard .
attach to Roach King of Swineherd's Crown - Trophy ; Comparison of Lament - Relic Saddle.
Lower your inventory 23 Kilogrames just keep the basic - 2 swords and armour's , at the moment i have Ravix of Fourhourn's Crossbow very light 0.77 +300% attack power Magic item .
Arachas Decoction -Relic ( reduces damage received based on armour & inventory weight , less carried and lighter armour means less damage is taken )
Super Tawny Owl -Relic 10% stamina regeneration
Superior Thunderbolt - Relic 35% attack power
Superior Petri's Philter -Relic 25% sign intensity
upgrade Character level mutations to Bloodbath , upgrade Alchemy & Combat as much as you can
Use Gorged on Power ( place of power last forever ) Queen or you can use Alchemy last row 3rd from the left Supercharged Glyphs - is not bad at all
Steel Sword - Preservation , Alchemy Fixative
Heavy armour - Retribution
in Combat when paked hit enemy with Superior Northern Wind ( freeze 10s ) & Superior Devil's Puffball 33s - 100 Poison damage
Now go to - Knight for hire , example Mont Crane Castle fight the Bandit's ( But Don't Go for the BIG boss ) , gather all you can Sword armour and sell to Grandmaster Smiths at Metina Gate , and you will also get XP for doing this , The Bandits will Respawn .
now , eat , drink , sleep repeat, don't forget to repair your armour and Sword.

One of the Grandmaster Witcher Gear quests has you activate the portal.
And your stamina isnt depleting as you use rend, wow

It’s an ability you can acquire in the character menu, it’s called whirl, once you’ve acquired it and added it to your character if you hold square(ps5) or hold X (Xbox) he will perform that attack.
