  • I just wanted to address some things about both my videos and videos others have been making about Harry Potter Quidditch Champions. The community is upset right now and reasonably so.

    For me, there is a ton of speculation. However, developer communication is honestly the biggest thing here. It makes it sound that the game was originally 6v6 and they added the bots. I'm hoping it is because they noticed something about the game's coding that could present issues. Eventually hopefully they craft it and bring it to the game. But I do get what you're saying based on original expectations

      I agree the biggest thing currently is the break down of communication from the Dev's. I talk about it in my latest video. I hope they make a statement before launch.

    You are right you cannot communicate with a bot but not everyone does communicating these games it's a bigger problem for those who communicate but for those who communicate people don't communicate are a problem anyway meaning in this game there's no incentive to have game chat at all the only reason you would use it is to work out which person a person is controlling the chaser or the over half

      I think I understand what you are saying here. The main problem is it removes the ability to communicate if you wanted to. Where if the team was all real players you could communicate and strategize with your full team, now you can't.

    There's lots of people who like single mode but multiplayer is obviously going to be something that has to be expanded on it's going to have to But we're not have updates

      I agree. Theres a large group of people who will play it for single player, but multiplayer is what will keep people playing after theyve completed single player.

      Yeah I personally am fine with the graphics shown in the trailers. I think it just make the game more accessible to other platforms.

    But why does everyone want this to be competitive it is aimed at the Hogwarts Legacy people I either got the ad in the Hogwarts Legacy game it's aimed at just casual gamers it's not aimed at competitivity at all And if you make it too competitive you start having complicated menus and the stuff And the casual game won't like it

    • @witritari7367
      @witritari7367  Месяц назад +1

      The reason why people were expecting multiplayer to be competitive is because the FAQ page specifically called it competitive until they recently changed it. And it doesnt just have to be competitive, casual players already have career mode and they can always make a separate 6v6 with bots for that group. They can appeal to both parties its just a matter of if they choose to.

    • @ANGELROB_YT

      @@witritari7367 You are absolutely right They can appeal to both parties but they're not going to Hogwarts Legacy didn't appeal to both parties That was a lot wrong with Hogwarts Legacy but some of that wrongness was properly to make it newbie friendly not give it a lot of steak like there was loads of pointless stuff in it the stuff was actually pointless so the newbies didn't have to worry about it too much which is unfair for a bit more professional people because it's a bit of an illusion for some of them

    I'm just not even sure what gamers want anymore, and I am one. Do you want a progression, or do you just want a fantasy sports game? Do you want there to be rewards at all, or is the reward 'winning'? This is dumb.

    • @witritari7367
      @witritari7367  Месяц назад +2

      I feel it was explained in the video. We just dont want to be forced to play against bots because its not fun. Theres no reason there cant be 6 real players on a team. There of course is more that could be said but I cannot legally discuss it further. As far as progression. That is fine in a single player or story mode. But depending on how it is done, it is not always a fair mechanic in PVP. In addition I think youre missing when i mention that there has to be a reason people weren't upset before, but are now and that reason is very important. Rewards can be fine as long as they dont give unfair advantages. But also think of league or fortnite. there are no rewards. people just play for the fun and to climb ranks/or to complete a battle pass full of cosmetic "rewards."

      @@witritari7367 But how long are you willing to wait for them to parse 14 players on a team for a game that will likely have a longevity of six months with good parses at best? As a fan of Sword Art Online games from Bandai-Namco I know that those games have a 3 month lifespan in terms of online play. Do you think there's actually going to be a world cup for this game? I doubt it

    • @witritari7367
      @witritari7367  Месяц назад

      A world cup no. Even if they dropped it to 6v6, 5v5, 4v4 there wouldn't be a need for bots in pvp mode. All they do is take away from team skill and the overall fun/fairness of the experience. And not saying it needs to be as competitive as league or have a huge esports scene. Any team pvp game is just objectively better without them. Like I said in the video, people will still enjoy the game and some wont care about any of this and that is fine. I'm also not saying they are wrong to enjoy the game. Just saying that it is not the best the game could be and explaining why.

      @@witritari7367 I think I understand where you're coming from and we're on the same page for the most part. I just personally an pressed for time to play any game I wanna play, and that is mostly MMORPGs. Which are notorious timesinks. I figure it out and make the most of my uptime between work shifts. I don't think there's a good medium with a sports game. It's a "in or out" situation.
