Thank you so much for your help. I have passed my acs. A lot of your videos helped for sure, especially for practical. The best practice is to read the books as you don't know what's going to come up until 2days revisions. Pipesizing they showed a different method they wanted to see.
That video had great visuals as always. You logically and thoroughly explained a topic which is treated as bit of an after thought on GIUSP teaching but which seems really important to know given its possible consequences
Thank you so much for this video, it makes a lot of sense. Need to ask when it says 'check flueing and is it suitable and capable of removing products of combustion' how exactly is this check done for a fire? What exactly are you checking, if the flue/chimney is behind the fire and you cant see it? How can you ascertain if its capable of removing products of combustion without a flue flow test which you said is not required on a visual. Sorry for these questions
Hi Abdul, if the fire is attached to a chimney just make sure that it’s secure and stable and look for signs of distress. The only other thing you can do is to check the chimney data plate (if there is one it will be near the electrical distribution panel or the gas meter..I’ve explained this in my flueing video) and then check that the chimney has the correct terminal fitted. That’s fine for a visual inspection.

Thanks for that. It keeps me enthused to make more stuff ..🙏
Many thanks. The blood pressure is lowering.
Will the gas not always be interrupted as you will always conduct a tightness test when servicing or installing a gas appliance
