Hi Joe With the pit lane, move the sensor further down mate Non mag cars will make it worse so I’ve got mine roughly two straights back from the entry point 🍻Mal
Hey Mal, Thanks for the tip. I'm most likely going to get a second sensor and put it right after the first one. My pit lane suffers from having bad visibility so a quick sensor makes it easy for drives to not worry too much about how far to drive to fuel or serve penalties. Thanks for watching 😎
Looks good, I raced on many tracks some guy's had loads of straights and a big layout and some only on a 8ft table and if your racing it really don't matter the size of the track it's always fun.
Nice to get a description of the layout. Enjoyable to watch on Monday night madness. Looking forward to many videos of all the improvements. Thanks for sharing Joe 👍
Wow, Joe, thanks for that 👏 love your track and how it's laid out .The 2 R2s leading into the r1 always make a great fun corner 😊 looking forward to seeing your foam hills when you get to do them . I like how you used every single bit of space ,even fitting a cool pit lane and crossover track .Awesome stuff Joe 👍 thanks for sharing mate 🤗
@@SCALE_SLOTCARS_AND_RC You are a big inspiration Harry. Thanks so much for putting out content for the rest of us to learn and follow as well. Thanks for your kind words
Hey Joe, nice track set-up. You noticed, that you would need jumper cables. The reason is, that you mouted a lot of track changing pieces. They soak up a lot of energy. That is the reason. For my taste, there are too many in this short length of the track mounted, but hey, there you go. What I often see is, that many mount the track changing pieces right behind a curve in their digital tracks. Not good, because if you come into a drift with your car, it won`t run straight over the diode in the ground and therefore your diode underneath in the chassis will not be straight of the gound-diode. The result is, that you cannot switch it. To mount atleast one normal straight piece, but better two, will avoid that. It is a major fault and Carrera mentions that in the manual. Sometimes, it is helpful to read the manual, to avoid mistakes. ;-)
Yeah, Im prolly gonna get another sensor and place it in front. Cars sometimes come in too fast and then the lap isn't counted on top of having to go all the way around to try again
Nice layout, looks like it's a lot of fun to drive! Looking forward to seeing how it goes on your family race nights! Have you been able to find that electronic drag strip?
@IrrerasCarrera They seem to have them in stock at Orleans Hobbies in Ottawa. A little expensive (93 USD), but the only store carrying them at the moment. I had purchased mine a few years ago at RC Superstore. They're currently out of stock but were selling for 70 USD, the best price around by far.
@All-ScaleSlotCars yes , I checked RC. I always get excited when someone says Ottawa and then realize its not our capital but a city in Orleans lol. Thanks again Denis 😁
I like your track and your future ideas.

Nice tour Joe! Great layout, moving the pit sensor down 1 track piece will help, IMO.

Yes, happens to us now and then. gotta look into penalties for too fast in pit. ;) I know SR can do that.
Wasp slots, Mcslots, wsr3d racing all on ebay mate sell those types of track fencing and other bits and loads of other goodies
