all thumbs up to Richard. thanks Richard
Welcome
Great stuff as always, thank you. How can I set visibility dependent on the selected value of a dropdown list please?
Dear Sir,
We are thankful to you for your exceptional tutorials . Right now I want to do same on reports, can you please guide us how to do the same on reports?
It works pretty much the same you just put the same visible code in the build event for the section in your report. I've got a video on this coming up soon.
Hello Creator,
I am working on a similar use case but I would want to hide multiple fields upon the value of a yes/no field. How do we do that? You did mention in the video that it is not best practice to use this same method for that.
Thank you for your answer in advance. It's worth gold :)
Thank you
VBA is Your living room, right?
Solid works and greetings from fan/Bremen (ger.)!
Sure thing. Greetings from Florida.
How Mr. Richard,
May I ask how can we apply multiple after event in the same field using code builder?
for example, in the Column of Mode I have drop-down list when I select Sea FCL show column NOC otherwise hide NOC column. but, when I select Air direct, or Air console will show column MAWB otherwise hide MAWB column.
Thank you very much for that!!
One question: If I use a continious form with that code, it doesn't work well because the oncurrent event only fires when moving from record to record.
Is there a way to fix that?
For example a way to determine whether a field is permanantly visible or not, using vba? Thank you very much for you anwer!
Best regards!
You are correct. This will not work with continuous forms. If you hide a control ALL of that control are hidden. See this: 599cd.com/HideFieldConditional
@@599CD Ah cool I didn't know you had a video for that too alredy! :D Thanks alot!
